Works great on my Canon T5i
At first I thought it did not work on my Canon T5i. However the manufacturer contacted me and told me to close the camera battery door. Doh! Didn't know that was possible with a wire hanging out but it is. Viola, it works.

Defective item
Unfortunately, I must have received a defective one. I plugged it in and nothing happened. I moved it with my finger to make sure it was fully inserted and got a shock.

No problems.
Used it on my Rebel t5i during the whole solar eclipse. Just remove the rubber access plug to the battery compartment, close the battery door and you are ready to go. Good wire length. Extremely pleased.

I thought mine was defective... YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE DOOR!!!There is a little notch for the cord to fit fine and close the battery door.
