They love it!
Bought this for my friend's dog that has panic attacks. He likes it so much he won't let them remove it after walks. They are very happy with the gift

Works nicely
I live on the southeast coast of the US, and we had a storm recently that brought rumbling thunder with it for a full week. Thank goodness I had just previously bitten the bullet to buy a thunder shirt for our spotted mutt, Moon. Moon shakes, shivers, and tries to get under the bed when it thunders. It makes me feel so sorry to helplessly witness her adrenaline-pumped fear. The shirt is a simpler affair than I imagined it would be--just a quite simple, slightly stretchy t-shirt-like material with a velcro fasten, but after practicing wrapping her up like a snug burrito a few times, I got the knack and it's a piece of cake. At first, she just stands there as if frozen in place, but after a minute or two she realizes that yes, she is fully free to move, sit, stretch out & lay down and it really does make her more mellow and content. Only wish I'd purchased one of these sooner.

Nice but velcro is lacking
Irish setter likes it, calms him down. Velcro could be better or could use a series of snaps 9n belly band

This might help those on the fence with sizing
I have 2 golden doodles that didn't doodle. They look more like black golden retrievers. Both weigh about 82 lbs, 1 has a more lean athletic build like a standard poodle the other is stocky build with a thicker booty like a golden. The lean boy measured right at 30 inches around and the thicker boy measured at 33 inches. I initially bought the XL based on the size chart. The XL was too big for the lean boy it was a little loose for him. I decided to return the XL and instead get a large. The large fit both boys with plenty of room to expand if either of them gained some pounds. Hope this helps anyone having a hard time deciding which size to get.

The only complaint I have so far is the color is not like what is pictured
I read the reviews and everyone said they ran large, so I got the smaller size. Mistake. Now I have to send away for the next size up which is the size I would have bought if not for the reviews.I'll have to make an update after this weekend to see if it helped. Our dog suffers from separation anxiety no matter what we do, so I am hoping this might help her a little. We shall see. Won't be the shirts fault if it doesn't work, not all things work for all dogs. The only complaint I have so far is the color is not like what is pictured. It is not bright pinkish purple like in the picture. But it is more of a duller purple. Still, we didn't buy it for high fashion anyway. Just hopeful it can help in the slightest bit.***UPDATE: For us this wasn't a fast and easy fix to a very big and complex problem. However, this wrap helped a little bit. And each and every little bit is important. our puppy is doing a bit better with conditioning, confidence training, and of course her wrap. We use this every time we have to leave as that is when our puppies anxiety acts up the most. our puppy has bitten and gotten this off a few times. But mostly it stays on and all the biting has not caused any damage. And she's 7 months now with her adult teeth and it still isn't tearing apart! That is impressive to me. She tears everything else to shreds. The wrap is also light weight enough that I don't worry about her overheating. She's a Boston terrier and they overheat easily. this has been a great tool for us and I liked it enough to buy the next size up even. I'd purchase again.

Keeping my dog from freaking out in Rain Storms and Tornado's!
It's not that I don't like it, my dog didn't like it. I put it on her when it was raining one evening and left my house for about 3 hours and when I got to her, she had her right front paw up under the neck strap where she had been trying to push her paw through so she could get the neck portion off her neck, it didn't work and her right paw was still lodged up under the neck strap and she was laying on her paw. I got it off her and she limpted around for a while. So I guess I'm going to have to forget about the shirts for her, I had bought a Medium size before this one and it was way to big, she had no problems getting out of it. She has been through 3 tornado's and all three were F4 or F5, so they freak her totally out, she walks around constantly and pants nonstop, won't let you hold her, won't go into her pet carrier or under a bed, she's 161/2 to 17 years old and I'm afraid one day the anxiety is going to do her in. I have some pills I got from the vet, first time didn't help, but on this last rain storm (now rain bothers her too), I gave her meds to her and she seemed to settle some, so guess I will stick with anxiety meds and see if these will help her out.

Great for most dogs
A bought one of these for my old dog and it was perfect. However, my new dog chews through it almost instantly. If you don’t have a big chewer I highly recommend giving it a try.
