Standard "large" collars are small on my Pit Bulls. These size larger are a bit big on my Pit Bulls. So if you need something bigger than what PetSmart has, I like these. I'm buying every color for my girls.

So, I have a 95lb male boxer who can get a little "pull-ie" if he sees a squirrel or rabbit or even a bird flying at times. I don't have to worry about him breaking the leash clip holder or any part of this collar. It's very thick, sturdy, and we'll made. He has a really thick neck too so this collar was perfect for him. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it while I've been out with him and people were shocked at where I bought it from and the great price I got on it. It looks beautiful on him as well so it was definitely a great purchase!

On the one hand, this is a really nice sturdy badass collar for the price, but on the other hand, it's MASSIVE. I used the size chart and ordered a "medium" but I think they sent me a "large" because I measured it and that's what it matches. I have to send it back because there's no way i could make it work (it would be too big even if i drilled a new hole).Please note that this collar is 2 inches wide! I can't imagine that even if it was the correct size it would be okay for my dog because it's REALLY WIDE. While it's really nice for the price, it might not be suitable for all breeds. My dog is a terrier/lab mix and she's on the smaller side of medium, as far as dogs go. I would feel cruel making her wear such a stiff wide collar! It's not suitable for her build.It's well made and good quality though, so depending on the kind of dog you have it might be worth considering (i could see this working for a fully grown pit bull or something). I ended up having to get a similar, but slimmer, collar for my dog though: Didog Leather Padded Spiked Studded Dog collar for Small Medium Dogs- Black 14 -18".

Looks fantastic on my Great Dane mix with a very long neck. Most dogs could not wear this caller. My son won't speak to my dog while wearing it he says my dog looks like a Jersey Boy with too much bling. My dog loves the attention. True to length but very wide.

I purchased 4 of these for my standard poodles who play hard with a lot of play biting around their necks. Needless to say they have destroyed many collars. These are a nice thick sturdy leather. And the studs are securely attached. They work well for my dogs and are very attractive. I must also note the price is excellent. Leather collars of this size minus the bling are more expensive to buy locally. I am very pleased with these.

Looks awesome on and last through water, hiking just about any activity great for large breed dogs. I have a Mastiff and the med fits but will more likely buy another once she grows more depending on arrival time due to getting the collar on time hopefully it won't happen again because the collar is very well made. will update when ordering a new one to see if the shipping is better.

I highly recommend this product! Fits perect on my growing 50 lb pitbull and it seems to be made very durable. No cracks or anything in the leather yet and I am just very pleased! This will be the only collar I will ever purchase if I need to purchase another one.. thank you!

Nice, good quality heavy duty leather with a sturdy buckle. A little wide for my dog's neck but she seems not to mind. Arrived in good time. I like the leash ring on the top of the collar. She's a bulldog mix and this collar not only brands her as a "she" but still manages to make her look tough.
