Great affordable beginner boom arm
This is my first boom arm. I didn’t want to go super expensive for my very first one. This one is great for the price! It’s a little stiff when you first get it and tight but I’m sure over time that would loosen & you could probably use some lube/WD40 on it If you wanted. It took only 10 minutes to set up. No instructions but easy and self explanatory. It has a “adapter” piece for the hyperX qaudcast so it does fit it perfectly! The clamp does require a pretty thin desk to clamp onto. Mine is a gaming desk so it’s on the thinner side so the clamp is fine. I’m going to get some cushion type material to put in between the clamp and the desk to make sure it really stays and no risk of falling off or down. I don’t think it will happen but just to be safe!

Definitely fits the HyperX QuadCast S
I have an IKEA desk and they're on the thicker side, so the original table clamp didn't fit, but the Seller sent me a wider replacement and now it's perfect! I do have to disagree with the reviews that say this doesn’t fit the HyperX QuadCast S — all you do is disconnect the mic from the original stand and connect it to the arm using the extra connector that was included in the microphone box (came with the actual mic, not the Amazon arm). I don’t consider myself very tech-savvy, but everything was pretty easy to figure out without directions.

Holds better than expected, decent quality as a beginner mic stand
I saw a lot of reviews that made me hold off on purchasing this cheap mic stand, but I ended up ordering it! While it isn’t the top of the line, it hold my hyperx quadcast s (adapter NOT included of course) very well! A few things to note:Cons:- You will have to fiddle around with it to make it work for you. I spend about 15 minutes spinning my microphone around in circles trying to get it to tighten up, which it eventually did.- It is smaller than anticipated. While it does give an accurate description on size / length of the arm, I was expecting it to be a bit bigger. Had to rearrange my desk a bit to get it to fit properly!Pros:- Pretty much everything you’re looking for in a mic stand for this price. Holds your mic and holds it well.IMO, should you buy it?Yes. Good quality stand for a cheap price. Does the job perfectly well and has been holding up for me!

Seller is great!
The seller was friendly, fast and replied back within the same day.At first when I received this the desk mount was not big enough and it was sorta flimsy with my type of desk. I contacted the seller and they helped me by sending me a bigger desk mount. It works perfectly. If tightened well enough it is not flimsy. Although the attachment for my mic spins around fairly easy if moved the wrong direction. But it’s not a big deal once you get it situated how you’re wanting it.Overall I think this is a good mic arm if you’re wanting something within budget

Love!
Love this arm for my new setup! Compared to my last one that snapped in weeks, this one is AMAZING quality. It fits most, if not all, types of mics, tested three totally different mics on this arm. No squeaky noises from the joints, holds super well. I only have to tighten the join that connects to my mic since I move that around constantly, but other than that no issues or complaints. The paint definitely doesn’t chip easy and still looks new after a few months of having it.

Damaged my desk
The part that you screw in, came damaged. I didn’t realize until it was too late. They put the metal stopper/washer ON TOP of the metal piece that is supposed to twist onto the desk. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t becoming stable. After a couple of twisting, I realized that the metal piece had fallen to the base of the screw and the screw was rusted into my desk. There’s a huge screw hole in the bottom of my desk now. Upon further inspection, the metal piece that holds the screw, actually came bent, so that it doesn’t sit straight up and down against the edge of desk. The screw was going in sideways because of that. Never again. Next time I won’t cheap out on a mount.
