Noise and coverage
This is a great fan. Although an outdoor fan, we put it in our family room and it is great. No noise, great remote and very good wind Flo.

Where's the air?
Where are all those CFM's? I searched high and low for new outdoor fans that would move a lot of air - these Minka's promised approx. 9500 CFM's on high speed. At first, I thought they were just too close to the ceiling (they came with only a 6" down rod). So I ordered and installed the 24" down rods and, truly, the air flow is just meh.For the price and hype, I'm seriously disappointed. Am I going to pay an electrician to uninstall and dismantle so i can box and return them? No. I am going to live with them. But not without a negative review. 😒

Outdoor Minka Aire for dock.
I’ve always loved a Minka-are fan but this one’s bottom plate will not fit so from underneath we see the inside casing of the fan. It looks bad.
