My dogs loved the hoofs. It kept them engaged and happy. I'll buy these again.

I bought these because I fill my puppy packs with recommended treats and chew items for when they go home. Cow hooves are one of my favorite suggestions. The bag was actually much larger than I thought with a very good variety of size. There were no very small hooves.Smell there was no processed or chemical smell. And smell to my adult dogs must be great because it is the only thing they are chewing on now. They ste a little softer than your typical store bought to me and tend to chip off if you have an aggressive chewer.Overall I will be purchasing these again to include four future puppies and letting my future puppy owners where i got them.

Was buying these at a higher price per hoof at my local pet store. I thought this package of 25 hooves would be excellent for my heavy chewing pittie. Unfortunately, these do not hold up in comparison to the ones at my local pet shop… the cow manure smell is worse & they break apart A LOT more easily. They “chip apart” vs being “chewed down.” The pieces are usually small & some are sharp! They break up and leave a mess everywhere & I’m constantly picking up bone fragments. This never happened with the hooves from my local pet store. Unfortunately, a couple pieces were swallowed and caused a blockage. It sucked to go through them so quickly & to have to pick up the constant mess, but the blockage was the last straw! That could have been a vet visit. Fortunately, he was able to regurgitate the two 1” diameter pieces he swallowed (see photo) and we avoided a trip to the vet.Do not recommend for heavy chewers!!!

At first my doggo just sniffed the bag really hard when we first got it. I gave him one and he had no interest in it for days but loved the smell of the bag. Lol. He’s finally started chewing it and it last forever ! Great value for money. And perfect for my big dog.

I got these to have on hand for when I board dogs at my apartment.They're great that they come in a large bag, because I can take a few out to make sure each pup has their own, depleting the jealousy/coveting thy neighbor's bone factor. Also very durable, lasts through a lot of gnawing, and makes for a great distraction for the dogs while I do other things.I deducted half a star is because the smell emitted while they're being consumed is a bit off putting, smells like urine a little bit. I haven't noticed any smells from the other ends of the dogs though, BMs and pees still smell the same. It's great that they're natural though, I feel good about giving them to my dog despite the smell.the other 1/2 star deduction is because they're not necessarily good for all dogs; can be tough for smaller dogs to chew and I started to supervise my pup while she's enjoying it because she started to swallow rather large chunks that she breaks off, and while some pass and come right out, about once a week she wakes up in the night to vomit out a large chunk or two that she swallowed but it unable to digest/pass. Again, I now supervise her with the hooves and am careful to throw away any hoof peice that begins to get too small or chunks that are broken off, but it does make me concerned that she might be damaging her esophagus/stomach consuming and then regurgitating the pieces, as they aren't small or particularly smooth :/ Just something to be aware of, normal though as not all toys are to be left alone with your dog.

My Boston terrier absolutely loves these. But the hoofs smell like a dead animal. I will not buy these again.

These hooves are great IF:You have a smaller dog.We have two large (81 & 70 lbs) dogs. We get them hooves from our local pet store regularly. When I saw these I thought they would be great. These crack and splinter very easily, which is a safety/choking hazard for our dogs. We stopped giving them to our dogs, and had a nearly full bag. I’d forgotten we’d set them to subscribe and save, but they are not returnable, so now we have a LOT of them.They are a great value, and they don’t smell as much as the ones we get at the pet store. Unfortunately, our Lab and Dogo are not the right demographic.

If you think you can stuff these with wet food of your dog forget it- these are so small and shallow they are useless
