Looks and feels like a solid knife
Its beautiful, and the Damascus pattern looks to be real and natural. Its razor sharp out of the box with a perfect looking edge, cuts like butter.Note to those who see reviews about rust: It's possible the Damascus has carbon steel in it and VG-10 is a "High-Carbon" stainless steel and may still be prone to some rust, therefore you should probably treat this like its not stainless and dry it after washing.

Well Crafted beautiful finish
Gorgeous blade and exceptionally sharp that holds an edge even with an aggressive bevel.Full tang blade and is surprisingly weighty but no so unwieldy as to be clumsy.It will be the first knife in the drawer you reach for. We all have that one tool that just makes your life easier.

Cracked handle on pairing knife
I will reorder as amazon will honor the sale price I got these for. However a quality knife set should come perfect. Cracks in the handle of any of the knifes is very bad quality control issue.
