The kit has everything beginners need to make their first few candles. The kit contains tons of soy wax and dyes, but could use a few more scents. The candle making instructions are clear and easy to follow. The biggest problem is that the instructions for the electric pot are very confusing.

I bought this as a arts and crafts project for me and my mom to do it was the most fun we have had in awhile! The instructions were so easy to follow, the scents smelled amazing, and the starter kit came with everything that you needed to make the 4 candle tins it came with. I will say if you buy this kit make sure you run to to a craft store and buy more scents and more candle safe jars so the fun can last longer! Each one of the candles pretty much take the whole bottle of scent that this package comes with. So the four candle tins are all you can make with the oil supplies. All and all we had a blast I really recommended purchasing this especially if you are looking for some fun quality time with a loved one!

This kit would have received 4 stars if the actual type of soy wax (465, 444, etc) and wick type and size were listed; manufacturer just says cotton (there literally hundreds of cotton wicks). Using a single wick provided in the kit for the square tins will result in under wicking and tunneling, I recommend using 2 wicks. Overall I was satisfied with the kit as a way to start my candle making

It was a great starter kit for my daughter who was interested is starting up candle making one thing i noticed was scents smelt great but when making candle it took up the whole bottle for to smell it when burning. Bit overall good product.

My kit only came with 10lbs of wax instead of 12 but everything else was packaged well and can't wait to use it
