OEM LG Magic Remote - USING 2 REMOTES AT SAME TIME.
I bought this original OEM replacement remote for my LG OLED Smart TV, and it works great! Just like the original — responsive, easy to use, and pairs with the TV without any issues.Exactly what I expected, and the price was affordable too. A solid choice if you need a reliable replacement remote for your LG Smart TV without spending a lot.The only surprise was that I couldn’t use two Magic Remotes at the same time. After connecting the new one, my old remote stopped working properly. Just something to keep in mind if you were hoping to use both.

Perfect replacement
Very solid construction, seems better than my original remote. Put batteries in and it paired immediately with my LG C1. Perfect replacement!

Pay attention - there are TWO models of this remote... (see attached images)
There's a GA model and a GN model (see attached images) - they both look exactly the same from the front.I first purchased a GA model and that would keep giving me an error like "This remote cannot be registered to this TV" - all the buttons would work, but I could not get the pointer to work... plus, whenever I clicked the OK button (wheel click), it would show the paring/registering error message. So I ended up returning the GA model because the original remote that came with the TV was the GN model.THIS remote is the "GN" model. BTW, I purchased the "like new" version and it actually looks/feels/works-like brand new - and about 1/2 the price of the new one. This remote is so good, I just ordered another one...JFYI, my TV is a LG 80QNED65 model.

Works great, but went on sale one day after purchase
Works great, much better than the basic remote that came with the LG TV. The air pointer is good, but a bit sensitive, even on the least aggressive setting. Unlike the basic remote, it is very comfortable in the hand. It went on sale one day after purchase, but Amazon made the adjustment after 21 minutes on the phone with customer service.

Something to keep in mind before buying.
When you’re considering an LG TV that doesn’t include this remote, you might wonder, “Will this remote work with my TV?” The remote model number reflects the year it was manufactured, with the last two letters indicating modifications. For instance, the GA version offers quick access buttons for certain commands or streaming services.Firstly, it’s important to note that the Magic Remote isn’t compatible with all LG TVs. To check if it’s compatible with yours, refer to the manufacturer’s guide, the TV itself, or consult Google. Secondly, if your remote was made after the year your TV was manufactured, it’s still likely to be compatible with your TV model and current models. However, avoid purchasing a remote older than your TV, as it may not function properly. For those who prioritize this feature, the NFC functions of the remote work as advertised. You’ll need to find the right spot with your phone model, and it’s advisable to have the LG TV app installed, as most of these functions operate through it. The app will prompt you to download it if you don’t already have it. Currently, this feature is only available for Android devices. The rolling ball can be a bit frustrating to use at times, but it’s entirely optional. Overall, the value was what I was most interested in here. Some places charge between $50 and $60 for this product. The quality is influenced by various factors, including your personal preferences, but overall, I’m satisfied because I got what I paid for.

Super easy setup
The LG remote that came with our 32 in. TV was so small with tiny, tiny buttons and no lit keypad --we just HATED it. We had the LG Magic remote in our downstairs family room that we loved-- it came with our 55" TV. We discovered that you could upgrade to the Magic remote that we already felt comfortable with -- (memorized where all the buttons are).It was super easy to connect with our bedroom LG TV. No more flashlights in bed to see where the buttons are to change the channel or to use the volume controls!!!!My only complaint is to the LG Corporation -- that they are being really cheap with their "Builder Grade" remotes. Making people have to "upgrade" to a remote for $49.99 that should really come with the TV. How sad that companies will stoop so low to bring in additional dollars for their bottom line. If you want to have loyal customers for life, give them a solid quality product that they will feel happy and not ripped off!
