Q: Can this pc be used with laptop style usb-c dock for single cable connection?

Don’t see why not. It has three USB (3.2) ports, one USB (2.0) port & one USB-C port where a single USB hub device could be plugged-in. In my deployment, I’ve mounted the PC on the back of a 27” monitor using the included mounting plate, and I’ve run a USB hub from the PC underneath the stand and along the side of the table. More convenient than having to plug-in USB attachments at the PC, behind the monitor.

Q: The description says it supports up to 1tb ssd, why is there a limit on drive size?

They may be referring to the NVMe slot. I was able to install a 2tb 2.5" SATA drive in the open bay and it works flawlessly. Also upped the memory from 16gb to 64gb. I suspect that even the NVMe slot will accept a drive larger than 1tb but cannot guarantee it.

Q: Can you bypass the fingerprint so it is not required like a typical computer?

To remove the Windows Hello fingerprint on Windows 11, use the following steps: 1. Open Settings. 2. Click Account. 3. Click Login Options. 4. Under the "Sign in with" section, select Fingerprint Identification Settings. 5. Click the Delete button. 6. Click the Remove button again to disable the Windows Hello fingerprint option. 7. Confirm the account password. 8. Click the OK button.

Q: Is this compatible with VESA mounting? I'd like to mount it to a monitor and then mount that to a wall.

It comes with a bracket to mount it to a monitor. The instructions mention fixing bracket on the mini pc and fixing bracket to the display. I didn't use the bracket and I'm not familiar with doing this work so I can't comment more than this.
