Edit about a year after purchasing: Bottom line- This product is a solid buy at an affordable price. I have used this for almost a year sometimes relying only on it for my phone/headlamp. I got comfortable leaving it outside in the rain and even hail as well as tons of dashboard time. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. The trick is to get it charging during peak sun hours around noon. The only "bad" thing is the color faded from the uv light from being outside all the time. Worth the money, and it's very satisfying using solar energy.Products pretty good. I got a small battery pack that has solar as a secondary source of power and quickly realized that I needed the converse, more about solar and less about battery. This is great, has a nice feel to it too. I put it in my rv window or truck dash and Ive gotten at least a phone charge a day in sunny california in the fall and its not even always in the sun. Some of the other small solar panels needed a battery etc. this one comes ready to go. And although the battery is seperate from the panel, its very durabaly attatched. For the reviewers complaining about the mounting, I recommend doing something like I did with paracord or maybe even using a carabiner with a keyring to mount it on a backpack or whatever.

Just received this and so far I am happy with it. It is sleek, light and folds up nicely. Charges well with the Colorado sun. However, it could be much better with minor improvements. The "kick stand" is simply webbing with velcro on it. There is NO way it can hold up anything. Either remove the picture showing it holding up the solar charger or add a support that will actually work as a kick stand. Currently I am using it to hang from my backpack or a tree, but that is all it is good for.The solar charger is described as "ultra thin and sleek foldable body" and it does fold up nicely, however the battery flap is dangling from the side and is unprotected. It needs something to help keep it closed - velcro or a magnet - (again, it doesn't stay closed like in the picture the company has in the product description). Why have a sleek, thin design, but then have the battery pack hanging out there. I've purchased many solar items in the past couple of years. I got into camping with my family and really just wanted to get off grid with some of my items. I like to recharge my cell phone exclusively with my batteries and large solar panels and such.I've tried so many little batteries from Samsung or off brand. I've got Rockpals chargers and batteries. I even have a Suaoki battery. They're all nice in some way, but I have to say that this item stands apart from them in one huge category.Out of all of the ones I have this little charger/battery is completely independent. That's why I have 3 now. I bought one a couple of years ago, but just recently ordered two more about 2 months ago. I like it that much.This thing can sit outside on a sunny day one time and by the end of the day it is fully charged easily.After that I can easily charge my Samsung Note 8 3 times on one of the batteries. So, if I am without the sun for several days I can usually get by just fine on these 3 little guys alone. I don't have to worry about setting up my 3 huge portable solar panels and attaching all of my little batteries (I probably have 10+ other little batteries and 3 large "generator" batteries). I just use these from day to day and set my big panels out less often.I can't recommend this product enough.

its 30F in New York and 100% cloudy, took all day to give me 50% charge.. thats 4,000mah out of 8,000mah i believe.. still charged an iPhone6 plus from 0-100% and finally died.. i did test it last year in summer when its sunny, battery pack charges dead to full in 3-4 hours and than will charge an iphone 6 plus 2 times from 0% to 100%.. this battery pack charges faster than these little ones on the market.. yes I have them and Im happy, but for camping Id take this one in my back pack because it will give me the power pretty quick!If your phone is dead and battery pack is dead.. not that I tested, but dont expect to plug it in on a sunny day and start playing video games right away.. i treat this battery pack more as emergency even doe it does the job very well.. charge your phone and battery pack, then go camping.. kill the battery pack, than put it outside when your phones are charged.. i had a iphone 5, charged it fully and left the battery pack outside charging.. this way you good on power!

I have been literally running all my gadgets off this thing for weeks now, its amazing. Every morning I set this up outside leaned against a tree in the back yard and adjust it to pick up the most direct sunlight just a few times a day. Its will charge the internal battery to full AND that attached external Jackery (Giant model) battery to full on a sunny day. All this juice will top off my gadgets each and every day with power to spare. Phone, tablet, and Oculus Quest 2 are all now solar powered by just this one device. Its awesome! The panel's built in battery is good for almost two full charges on my phone, but for just topping everything off each day I have plenty of harvested sunlight to go around. Worth WAY more than they are asking IMO.

I brought this product as I stay in Chennai where we can tap full solar power.I had gift coupon and thought to but something useful and rememberable and it satisfied me fully ,Just for charging 5v devices I did not want to invest in Solar panel controller and battery.I am indeed happy with this device as it includes 8000 mah power bank. Within 5 hrs full charge occurs and we can also charge parallels while it's solar charging. backup has enough power to be used during night which is great feature. Working well for me to my expectations, product is sturdy and neat, just like a note pad. Big thumbs up from my side to iclever organization for providing such a good product and recommend others intrested in to buy.

Leider lädt der Akku von Anfang an so gut wie gar nicht. Nach 1 Tag an der Sonne gerade mal 2 Leuchten.

Habe Ladegerät 14 Stunden in der Sonne gehabt und es ist nur 75% geladen!!!!!Es lädt nicht vollständig auf auch nach 2 Tagen in der Sonne !!! War ein Fehlkauf kann ich keinenEmpfehlen😬
