CERWIN-VEGA! HED Series 4"x10" 2-Way Coaxial Car Audio Speakers (4Ω, 50W RMS) - H7410

Installed in my 95 Chevy Tahoe in rear locations. Fit perfect with much improved sound at a great price. You will not have to modify anything to make fit and still utilizes the factory grills.

Bought these to replace the old factory speakers in my Ford F-150. They sound great and handle the power of my aftermarket Blaupunkt stereo with no problem even at high volume. The sound is crisp and clear.

Polarity correct the bass is lacking. The stock ones really pumped out the bass likely because of the foam edge on the cones, the same foam that caused their downfall due to deterioration. I've been very annoyed with almost all automotive devices made these days coming with wires that are 90% insulation and 10% actual wire(s) and also that the wire is not copper. OR at least if they are some sort of odd coated copper wire that look silver more actual wire would be nice. I haven't actually tested these small wires but if someone told me the new wires are just as good as the old have more actual wire ones I would not believe them. As to the plug ends of the wires these came with the socket and plug fit is terrible. I had to push harder than I should and support the connection plate so I didn't bend it with my finger and the back side is sharp and pointy and blood was drawn. If my s10 was a daily driver I would have not bought these but now my long trips to the dump is a bit more pleasant. Bass lacking aside they get the job done ok. I just set the fader a bit more to the front stock speakers and turn up the volume a bit to compensate.

Sounds great crystal clear sound

I bought these to replace factory speakers in my 1991 Dodge truck. I still have the stock stereo in there and they sound great. Eventually I am replacing the glitched head unit so I assume after that they will be even better.

These little speakers sound amazing

I have very limited options for the rear deck speakers on my Buick Regal. I went with the Cerwin Vegas based on price and name. They sound pretty good. I'm not trying to win any sound off contests. One thing surprised me. They were delivered in the mfg box. No outer box. And the seal was broken. I opened up the box immediately in front of the delivery person. Everything was fine. Vendor should package item in an outer box. Got lucky on this one I think. Reason for 4 not 5 star rating.

These worked great for me. Crewin-Vega is a name that I can trust. The previous speakers I had were 3-way and didn’t last a year because the bass was limited. These 2-ways seem to handle the bass better and are a perfect replacement for the 1-way speakers that were originally in the car.
