Used this to attach an overhead power cable to our barn and it's exactly what it says, Heavy Duty. Well Made and worked as expected. We did add a backing plate and large washer on the back during installation to assure the bolt would not pull through the wall due to the weight of the heavy cable it was holding.

Cant beat a basic porcelain knob for a service drop on a smaller home. They last for many years. This version is nice if you want to bolt it thru a joist.

Bolt thickness is a key metric, I was unable to use because it is lighter duty than I needed . Returning. ( sorry - I’d add the thickness to my review, but I don’t recall anymore. It prob ok if pole is on same side of street as your house and you have 100 or 150 amp service. Thicker cable, or longer run - I’d suggest bigger insulator and bolt.)

The holding strength was the most important thing for me. Used it to tie my electric lines to my house.

I used this anchor on a metal building that I was wiring. It was the perfect item for the job

By code, i wasn't allowed to use the lag bolt version, it had to bolt all the way through the pole. This one was too short to go through the electric pole
