Longacre52-52003 Tire Pressure Gauge, 2-1/2 Inch, 0-60 PSI

I had a nice gauge that I have used for the past number of years and I will continue to use it. I autocross and the last event I went to--- everything was a major rush. With that I had to bleed down several pounds of air and it took way too long and people had to go around me, so I had to come up with something else that bleeds down faster. My dad has one similar to this one and it bleeds down really fast, so I picked this one up as it has both the ball and angled chucks.My first test was to pump up a tire 5-6psi over my normal operating point and then bleed it down. What would have taken a solid minute, now only takes a number of seconds. Each short press is worth 1/4-1/2 pound and is completely controllable which is perfect. It holds the value very well and the bonus is that the movement is very fluid. It does not snap up and down like a normal gauge which for me means that it has better internal control and prevents the needle from smacking into the stop at 0psi.I use the angled foot as it is a swivel and works very well. The ball chuck is also included, but honestly I do intend to use it. I also chose not to get the liquid filled. I guess you can call it Murphy's Law, but every time I use a liquid filled gauge for checking tire pressure... the bubble is exactly where I have to read the numbers. Also considering that liquid filled is usually for applications with vibration (for example at work we have a 5000psi pressure washer..... it vibrates and the gauge is liquid filled which makes it read nice and smooth), so for this it is not necessary.Lastly, it does not come with a case and that is fine. I keep it in my door pocket and even with my last gauge that had a case, it never gets used. Quality is very good and it is easy to read. I look forward to using it for years to come.

I've owned your #52-52003 60psi Deluxe, and I remain impressed by its substantiveness, weight, and accurate performance. Others are impressed by its sheer size, so I could only imagine what they would think of your Magnum series! The glow-in-dark feature extends my gauge operational window up to 1 hour before sunrise and 1 hour after sunset.I have wanted a lower pressure kit for some time now, for car use only, simply because the 1psi tick marks are spread further apart on the already large Longacre gauge head. I can accurately set cold tire pressures on anything up to 37 psi(my safety margin) with it, and up to 56psi with the 60psi Deluxe. Same smooth pointer action on both, crisp ON/OFF air bleeder button action, and guaranteed accurate cold tire pressure settings at each corner of the vehicle. Cars have never handled better, with the vehicle recommended tire pressures dialed in precisely.I do not understand why more of the general public aren't aware of your tire maintenance lineup, especially your range of tire pressure gauges, both analog and digital. They truly are a step above Slime, AccuGage, and many other gauge mfgs' products out there, in all regards - build quality, performance, accuracy and repeatability of tire pressure reading, etc. I'm glad I discovered Longacre Racing two years ago!Thanks for providing such outstanding tire maintenance products, and looking forward to what's next from LR! 🙂

Seems good quality, easy to read

This unit is well worth the money. It is accurate and well made. The only, very minor, issue I have with it is the backlit feature. Is just glow in the dark and while you can get a general idea of where your air pressure is around do not expect to be dead with air pressure in a low light setting.

I assume it's accurate. Seems solid. Extra nipple end is an interesting extra, but not really needed.

Purchased two of these gauges, one for myself and the other sent to my son for a Birthday present.Tested the gauge yesterday, works great and when compared to two others, is very accurate, is easy to seat and holds the reading until released. In this regard, this gauge easily deserves five stars.This gauge itself certainly qualifies as a finely constructed instrument, yet unfortunately is crammed into to small a package which results in kinking the otherwise quality hose. After contacting my son, he verified his arrived with the hose kinked as well.The gauge still seems to work properly, but I'm afraid will always carry this scar of improper packaging and with the hose damaged, that location will encourage future kinking until eventual failure.I read a few reviews with similar complaints, I'm not sure why I was expecting different results.In this regard, I'm disappointed and should have paid closer attention to the reviews of others prior to purchase.

This is a fantastic tire pressure gauge. I use it to tune the tires on my e-bike to exactly 26 lbs. Using this gauge and others I discovered that the digital gauge I had been using for years was reading 2 lbs. too high, so I had been underinflating my tires for years. This gauge is heavy duty, accurate, and easy to use. It holds the pressure reading after you detach and has a handy deflation valve to adjust pressures lower. It's everything I wanted in a tire pressure gauge.

I ordered the analogue display, 0-100 psi model. I used it the other day and it worked well. The hose is flexible even in 10 degree F weather. I had an easy snug fit with the swivel head. The needle on the dial stays at the last measurement until you clear it by hitting the bleed button - which was handy. I bought this to replace a similar Moroso (0-60 psi) that I ordered in 2007. When I found my Moroso recently, the needle was stuck at about 4 or 5 psi - so now I'm really happy that I have the Longacre. I feel dumb spending money on a tire gauge, but it is so easy to use and read the big dial. I really like it.

I like the analog style, simple, no battaries and accurate. The dial face is easily read (the glow in the dark does work). The pressure is held until the bleed down button is pressed. Quality gauge and I am happy with this purchase.

Used for racing where I appreciate the extra delineations (0.5psi) compared to others in the price range. Outright accuracy is within 0.5psi of a calibrated electronic gauge of mine. The needle, which is oil-damped in its motion, tends to take a second or two to stabilise (it will creep a fraction higher from where it initially stops) - I had this on my previous, cheaper, gauge, and it's just something you get used to. The air bleed system is easy to use. Whole unit feels robust, though I still bought a hard case for it rather than have it knocking around my toolboxes - would be great if they included one as standard. Glow in the dark face is handy. It feels like an instrument for life.

Gauge was sold by Hoerr Racing and fulfilled by Amazon . Placed order on Friday and it was delivered 2 days later on Sunday. Great service from Hoerr Racing . The 2.5 inch gauge is easy to read . I owned 3 other gauges that all gave 3 different readouts . Expensive for just checking the tire pressure on a passenger car , but you get what you pay for. Very happy with my purchase .
