Great product!
I got boomerang and Abigail for my two daughters for Christmas and they LOVE IT. Both kids love watching Spirit so these are a big hit. The quality is good and worth the money so far. My 2 year old loves taking the boots and clothes off and they are still holding up. Both Boomerang and Abigail get their hair brushed often and it seems to be staying in. I could see if your kids weren't very careful the legs on both horse and doll could break but as long as they dont get stepped on or slam the horse down it should hold up fine. I think with usual play they should hold up great.

Dolls break easily
The horses are nice, as you'd expect from Breyer. The dolls are beyond delicate. I'd call them action figure style, but they're very poorly made. We bought all three and none of them dolls lasted more than a few weeks. Two lost legs and one's body and legs completely separated. I think the box says "Ages 4 and up." I'd say 8 at the youngest, but I could see my 8 year old niece also breaking the dolls.

Not worth it
HORRIBLE. Daughter got I yesterday and the horse leg already broke. Despite the reviews I bought 3. One of each character. Abigail leg is also broken. Such as waste of money.

For display not for play.
These are very nice looking toys, but they are not toys to be played with. I bought all 3 and the rear legs of the horses all broke in the same places within 2 weeks. A nice clean break. I could actually switch the broken legs between the different horses and glue them so it looked like it didn't break. There seems to be a defect in the mold process, I can see why Breyer doesn't make the newer toys.

Very like the cartoon in looks.
My two year old daughter loves all things Spirit related. These toys are great because they look more like the cartoon characters. The real cloths on the dolls match the cartoon. I’m very happy with this set. My daughter has managed to break the legs off her Lucky doll twice however we have managed to fix her both times. Definitely my daughter’s favorite toy.

Breaks way too easily
My daughter loves Spirit, so we bought her all three "Spirit: Riding Free" horse/girl sets, which we gave to her three weeks ago. She was ecstatic. Since then, two of the three horses have broken at least one leg. I had read reviews stating that they broke easily, so I only allowed my daughter to play with them gently on a carpeted surface and monitored her play. They still broke. I'm very dissatisfied.

Breaks easily
These are so cute and my daughter absolutely loves the show, but the saddles and bridles break very easily. Amazon did send a whole replacement set, but we have to ship the other one back which is more difficult to do now with all the stores around us having limited hours. It's also quite frustrating to hear my daughter cry when her toys break, especially knowing she saved birthday and report card money to purchase the whole set of three herself. Disappointing!

Legs Break Easily
Horse leg broke almost immediately and I don't let my Granddaughter treat her toys roughly. Just a cheap product. She's so sad but I can't buy another one just so it can break.
