The pieces are not microscopic, which was nice. They were the perfect pea-ish size gravel. Perfect for my projects.

Okay. The product page accurately states that these are very small bits of polished crushed stones. It's also nice that the product page has images of the types of crystal and stone chips in the mixed bag-- I do wish they had included something of the same with the stones.It's difficult to say if this would be a good buy-- that would depend on what sort of project someone planned to use the chips for. I wouldn't consider it a good buy to use for aquarium gravel for even a small goldfish bowl because it would take more than one bag of crystal chips to do the job properly. The amount of crystal/stone chips is only enough to fill a largish size shot glass to the rim.They would be good for small "wishing" or "faery" bottles if a mixture of chips was wanted-- it would be possible to sort out the various types of chips, but a bit time consuming. I'm planning to use mine to create "paths" in a small indoor "faery garden" with mini orchids and plants.For my project, this is a decent value and the quality is good. I'd purchase again.

I love amethyst and the LAIDANLA Amethyst Crushed Stone Crystal Chips did not disappoint in terms of the coloring and quality of the stone. The purple color is beautiful and the little stone chips are all polished. I deducted one star as these are advertised for use in an aquarium. However, this is untrue. The stones come in a small bag and you would need to order multiple bags for even a small aquarium. I still love the stones though and am planning on using these to build a fairy garden in my library next school year.

My stone chips are about the size I expected. The bag fits in the palm of my hand but it did weigh 106g. The bag contained just slightly more than 1/4 cup. The color is more of a peach than the pink they show in the ad. I usually use these chips for making resin "geodes" but they can be used for many other crafts or as filler for an aquarium or vase.

I knew when I ordered that it wasn't going to be very much product but it was still less than I expected. The package about a handful of crystals. If you are trying to fill a vase or a fish bowl, order more than you think you will need. The color of the stones was good, they were quite pink and very pretty. The crystals were are tumbled smooth so no sharp edges that might hurt fish. Rose Quartz is water safe but the color will fade over time if exposed to the sun so something to consider. Overall, I thought that these crystals were nice quality, just smaller package than expected.

Attached photo to give idea of size of package. It is very close to the volume of my iPhone plus if it were cut in half. I plan on using these in a micro aquarium but I will have to be careful of placement. I have no idea the value of the stones but it is a good assortment and no single color stands out.

There were not a lot of stone chips in this box. They would barely fill up a baby food jar. So when it says on the label for use as aquarium gravel, don't think it's gonna fill your tank or anything. Just accent pieces because it's barely a few tablespoons of stones.
