Those socks are great to keep your feet warm when sitting outside in freezing temperatures. They also work fine when walking but the heat is too intense when standing still - even at the lowest setting. So, it depends on what you want to do with them. When I go hiking, i usually don't switch them on when walking, but do when having a break and sitting for a while.I also find that using leg warmers to cover the batteries over make them feel a lot more secure. Although it's not happened, i've been concerned that the batteries may unfasten and get lost. I tried various things to secure them. Leg warmers are best.Lastly, I had a problem with one of the batteries not functioning but ProSmart's customer service replied speedily and replaced it.Highly recommended even if burning sensations are not pleasant when standing on them.

First off, these are actually great. Like genuinely a 5 star review, HOWEVER, recently they have broken, I think it's a wire in the right foot and now it doesn't heat up at all. I will happily change this review once this gets sorted, preferably replaced because I've only these for a few months

I bought these for a nagging pain and swelling from a heel spur.I actually put them on at night on a gentle heat; so far absolutely brilliant and far better than other painkillers I have used.They are clearly meant to be used for outdoor wear, not tried that as yet but I work outdoors so maybe will use them in the winter.

Bought these for my husband thinking he’d laugh at me after the first wear... but he absolutely loves them and yes they do keep your feet warm for hours. They do exactly as is stated and will probably order a second pair!!Fab!!

These socks are fantastic on those winter days when the cold bites your toes. I had a slight problem with one of the batteries which I caused, but the seller has gone above and beyond to help me with the problem that is now sorted. Brilliant

Bought these socks for my friends birthday ! He likes to stargaze when weather in Scotland allows , but suffers from cold feet while doing so . So now he says the socks will make the world of difference . Arrived really quickly as well ! Well done !

The chargers on the socks are too big, not flat, therefore can bit discretely fit into any winter boots. If your wearing joggers, slim jeans, the socks are over these, therefore the charging units are visible, and look silly. Not suitable until you’re wearing wide loose fitting trousers
