This was my first Seahorse product...so I was pleasantly surprised to get such a sturdy case at an affordable price! And, it's the perfect size. I was able to fit my Sony A5000 mirrorless camera plus 3 lenses, 2 batteries, and a wall charger all inside the pick 'n pluck area. Also, I was able to fit my full-size S&W .45 plus a magazine in the same area (but not together with the camera).The case's robustness exceeded my expectations. The foam is dense and seems like it would stand up to some hard hits. The top/flat part of the case suffers only slight deflection when pressing down hard at the center (this is not a bad thing as you would want some flexibility to avoid being brittle).The latches are hefty and hold on tightly (though they are not two-step, i.e., they only click once). Once the case is latched, it can be locked further using two knobs (as seen in the picture). Once secured, there is no gap or play whatsoever. There is one padlock provision in the middle, rather than two on the sides. The handle is sturdy yet comfortable.I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a rugged case that can stand up to harsh conditions, or a case that is safe to fly with. Or if you just don't want to shell out $50+ for a Pelican.

I recently purchased a Shure SM7B microphone along with a Cloudlifter to use for some of my traveling musician work. I was bummed when I learned the SM7B doesn't come with a case of any kind so I turned to the web and some forums recommended Pelican cases. I wasn't trying to spend $60-80 on a case so I kept searching and came across this little guy. Let me just say it's GREAT. Foam feels durable and was extremely easy to remove and add back in places should you decide to change the configuration (I saved the pieces in a plastic bag.) Perfect size for my mic and the Cloudlifter. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, especially for the price. There's hardly any difference in quality between this and Pelican, SKB, and other cases that cost 3-4x as much. The locks feel durable and the case is lightweight and will be very easy to transport, it could even fit in a large backpack! I have zero complaints about this case, for my uses I can tell it's going to be perfect. I would have no problem recommending Seahorse to anyone looking for a durable and inexpensive case for any pro audio equipment! Definitely thinking about picking up a few more in the future.

Heard about Seahorse Cases from online forums for photography and how they're just as good as Pelican Cases. Pelican is known for quality and they're pricey as well. Found Seahorse on Amazon, thought I would give them a try to see if they're as good as other's recommendations.Initially I was looking for a case to store a NOCO GB40 battery charger. Looking through the various options, most are nylon or semi hard cases which vary from $11-20. Mixed reviews on some of those cases with handles that fail within a few months.Then I found the Seahore cases here, they're hard outside material, have sturdy handles and come with foam inserts. The cost is a few dollars more than a soft case.While this case comes with the pluckable foam to customize the fit, I use only the bottom layer and the top (not removable). This fits the GB40 unit and the battery cables and nice snug fit, does not move around as the lid foam keeps it secure. The case has a 1/4 turn knob which locks the latch from opening accidentally. Now I can keep this in the trunk and not have to worry about anything which may crush the charger if I had it stored a a soft/semi hard case. Will definitely purchase more of these cases for OBD II code readers and other auto diagnostic tools I have which came in soft cases.

Bought this case on a whim after I happened upon it. I normally only purchase pelican cases but after seeing the size and the price of this case; I couldn't resist. At first glance when you look at this case, you can tell it is well made. The plastic that's used feels both tough and grippy and the case seals very well. What really impressed me were the small locks on the top. A very nice touch and it makes sure that these latches won't open when bumped against something. Foam was also included with the case so that is another plus. All in all, I will be buying again. Great price for a great case.

I bought this to display my watches. Looks cool in my bedroom on my dresser. Quality is excellent. I debated on whether or not to go with this or a pelican case. Decided to go with this because of the price but at the same time I was also nervous it would be a really cheap product because of the price. This is one of those rare instances where something is Def worth more than what you pay.My only complaint (which is why I did not rate 5 stars) is that it came with very minor scuffs and scratches. You can barely notice them and I am sure to add more myself but since i bought it for display purposes I was slightly upset.

Absolutely loving this case. It is fairly light but not because it feels cheap, everything feels really solid. The latches give a nice firm thunk/click when engaged, and the extra lock on them is really nice. The measurements are spot on, the glass that I'm protecting fits perfectly inside, almost like it was made for it. I'm definitely planning on buying a few more of these, absolutely perfect for protecting fragile glass.Edit: I'm now up to three of these cases, and loving each one.

I bought this waterproof case to keep my MSR XGK II Shaker Jet Stove in. The case fits in my touring kayak easily. Case holds refillable fuel bottle, stove, eating utensils, waterproof matches, knife etc. The latches have twist locks so case cannot accidentally open.The case is well made and materials are good quality at an excellent price point. I have owned Pelican and Hardigg cases and the Seahorse is good but may not be as durable if used in extreme conditions over a long period of time. Still the Seahorse represents a good value for a light/medium duty waterproof hard case.

He usado pélican y hasta ahora solo tuve unos problemas respecto al sello de hule en la tapa, por unos días se me desacomodaba hasta que la dejé cerrada por un periodo prolongado y al pareces asentó y se quedó bien en su lugar, la esponga es fácil de cortar y acomodar. La comprñe en oferta y no me arrepiento, aunque ultimamente he necesitado una extra y no me ha convencido el precio original, tal vez termine comprando Pelican si no baja.

Bom acabamento, bastante qualidade. Totalmente satisfeito.

This case is insane quality for the price. I might just buy a few more. I wish the larger sizes were easier to get in Canada. This case fit a large pistol and 2 mags easily.

Debo decir que me ayudo mucho aunque en tamaño debi pedir uno más grande , lo utilice para las sondas de un equipo de ultrasonido portátil y así evitar llevar las cajas de cartón original , que también son buenas pero se dañan fácilmente . Satisfecho con la compra. Saludossss
