My brother recommended this product for my cracked heels. Over the last couple of years I have tried various lotions and paste products. Some actually recommended specifically for the heal. This product worked within a few days. Still have to use stone on my heels (maybe because I walk and hike a lot) but it has helped the cracked areas and reduced the build up of callouses.

I've used this for 35 years. I worked in custodial when in college and this was provided for our dry, cracked hands. After I quit I couldn't find anything that worked as well and would ask friends who still worked there to bring me some. With the advent of the internet I was finally able to buy some for myself. I buy a case of 12 every few years. I have multiple allergies but never react to this, even after using it for decades. If your hands are VERY dry and cracked it may burn for the first few minutes, but it will heal them overnight. I backpack a lot which can result in cracks at tips of fingers. Never happens to me because I have Stokolan with me. I share it around and fellow backpackers are amazed out how much their chronic cracks mend overnight. One or two days with a band aid over is all it takes to heal completely. It's also great on chapped lips. It heals them much faster than anything else I've tried.

Absolutely the most effective hand lotion I've ever used to heal the severely cracked skin on my hands. The healing is almost immediate and certainly a welcomed relief to the harsh elements of winter weather.
