I have had a few mug warmers over the years and this one truly *does* not only warm mugs, but also keeps the contents warm for a very long time.It is quite a powerful wee machine and so far, after my initial try-outs - to keep drinks warm - I have never needed to use the maximum heat setting. Instead a mug of tea or coffee stays at a very good "drinking temperature" on the lowest setting for as long as necessary. I have never so far needed to reach the 4 hour cut-off safety period.The *only* drawback - not really a fault, but a thing to beware of - is the switch: It is touch sensitive, just like on a smartphone or Tablet screen and one must be wary of accidentally switching it on simply by brushing against the switch. I have taken to switching it off on a switched socket I have it plugged into after a couple of times accidentally powering it up. (Mind you, at the same time, there is a very bright light to show that the warmer is switched on and also the setting which should immediately warn you of an accidental switch on.) The settings themselves seem to be very accurate.All-in-all, it is "Almost Perfect"! I would have preferred a more "physical" switch but I can live with the warmer as it stands.(And a bonus by-the-way: One night when lying in bed and fancying a warm snack, I tipped a small tin of beans into a flat-bottomed enamel mug and switched the warmer on to full power. Whilst not having the same power as an induction plate, of course, it certainly heated my baked beans up in a reasonable time with a stirring every few minutes. Perhaps it is an answer to "High Energy" prices!)Like I say, "Almost perfect", and I think I will get another one to sit by my armchair.

Good for the price, only thing is that it doesnt have medium setting, its either hot or not other than that works perfectly

This does keep your beverage hot. And when I say hot I mean to the point of scalding if you're not careful. If your mug is very thick and heavy you'd probably be OK with the highest setting but if its a normal 11oz household mug it's too high. It can have a tendency to cook the milk when you get further down in your cup if you're also not careful enough. Basically, it's trial and error but once you know how it behaves with your crockery you'll have a warm beverage for as long as you want!

Does the 'keeping warm' bit perfectly, looks good and is easy to keep clean. Also gets to temperature fast which is an improvement on my previous warmer.However, can't give it5 stars as the on/off and temperature selection switch a) is very sensitive and far to easy to multiple press by accident, and b) more importantly provides no haptic feedback whatsoever.

Brilliant product this!Have had something similar before but which ran off a USB port. It didn't keep the liquid warm enough at all. This one is mains-operated, and on the hottest of its three settings it will bring a cold cup of coffee back to almost-boiling point in about 30 minutes - but will keep a hot cup at or beyond full drinking temperature all day. You can confidently go out at 11am after drinking half a cup, come back at 2pm and it is still at least as warm.There is an automatic shut-off after about four hours, I believe, and as several others have pointed out, there is a small issue with the very sensitive switch - easy to knock it on if you are right-handed and also using a mouse nearby - but that is nit-picking. This is a great piece of kit.

Keeps mug hot. Really good so far only had it a few days but so far so good

I have bought several cup warmers and always been disappointed in the lack of heat. Then I discovered these glass top heaters with three heat settings and the top setting can even heat drinks which have gone cold. For all the reviewers that say it is too hot - just use the next setting down! The 4 hour auto shut off is useful but what I really like about this particular one is that it has a 4th setting to actually turn it OFF (others just cycle through the heat settings with each touch, so you have to turn them off at the plug or wait for auto shut off). This is now my favourite cup warmer and I use it every day.

It came with nice packing, does what it suppose to do. I even poured out some cold drink from the fridge and just 15 to 20mins(red mode) it was good to drink with the right temperature, easy to use and quite handy for someone always staying at home especially winter is coming.One thing just be careful after you turn it off, the plate is still quite hot, can still keep warm for a while though, so powerful XD
