Q: What is the width of the pipe anchor so I buy the right size post pounder?

The pipe anchor itself is 1 5/8"

Q: Can this be used as an outdoor lamp post?

I don’t think so. They are pretty short. If you’re maybe thinking of a 6 foot fence post or gate post it could be done but due to the screws that penetrate the pvc post I’d advise running your electrical cable through a metal conduit down through the PVC post from a mounting plate at the top. Make sure it’s underground rated cable. You’ll probably want to enclose that in conduit also. And check to see if you’ll need a permit to do this.

Q: these are shown with the Zippity shower enclosure, do they work with it for the leg support?

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Our outdoor showers utilize one of two options for securing the shower to the ground. Option one is our Outdoor Shower Post Extension Kit, ZP19012. They are inserted individually inside the post and then buried in the ground. Option two is our metal Surface Mounts, ZP19011. They are inserted inside the shower posts and then secured to the ground with concrete wedge anchors. ZP19011 can be used for either of our two showers or our Newport and All American posts I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Best, Kayla

Q: How far below ground are the posts?

The steel pipe anchor goes 23" deep into the ground for support. The vinyl post sleeve goes 4" into the ground so it doesn't seem to "float" above ground.
