Mattel Disney Planes Skipper Riley Diecast Aircraft

This toy we paid $15 for here on Amazon....don't judge me. I knew it was ludicrous to pay that much. I just didn't realize how much we were over paying. I recently perused the toy isle at Walmart and they have this same exact plane for $5.47.I just about choked on the gum I was chewing. I snagged two of the jets for our son as prizes. At that price I wanted to purchase ALL that they had. This is the reason why, our current Disney diecast planes are missing their propellers, paint is chipping, chupa no longer has his cape for just a few examples. The kid LOVES them to pieces... almost literally. So at the prices I have seen here on Amazon, it's not worth the money. But if they are selling for about $5.47 or less and free shipping than YES...they are worth getting. The kids love them, its hard to deny them what they really like, even tho you would much rather get them some wooden waldorf plane with a gnome pilot and acorn headed passengers. Because those waldorf toys look much classier than these, but again the kids love them. And in the end that is who's going to be playing with them. Skipper's body is metal and sturdy, propeller is plastic. Held up to 4 year old threat level orange play time.

Our 3.5 yr old son has been asking about this plane to join his toy "Dusty Crophopper" for about a year. We decided that his baby sister would give it to him for Christmas. Easily one of the bigger hits on Christmas morning and the weeks since. Good price, good model casting, functional propeller, and an affordable price. This is a pretty durable toy for all the use it gets.

In product info it says it measures 6.5 x 8.4 inches. I got a small die-cast that wasn't even half the size. Definitely not worth what I paid!

I did not read the full description before so it was a lot smaller than what I expected, but my nephew loved it and wouldn't let it go, so in that sense, it is good that it is small so he can take it with him wherever he goes.

This little metal plane is well made and just the plane to fly on the carrier. I is surviving a three year old throwing it across the room . Love the little plane. Thank you for making this .

This is diecast metal and is exactly what I was looking for but have seen them since in 2 different stores for around the $5 range. A little disappointed that I paid about twice that. They are about the size of a matchbox car. Seem to be good quality.

My soon to be 3 year old has not broken this so it has proved to be a well built toy. This would also be nice for a collector. The details are good.

Exactly what we expected. Our 3 year old is enamored with the film and the characters. Skipper is well made has his Jolly Wrenches stamp and all the details. Great die cast quality.
