Easy to Install, Loved by Our Cats
The media could not be loaded. We installed the Patio Pet Door in our living room to give our five cats easy access to the patio, and it’s been a fantastic addition! The installation process was straightforward, and we love how simple it is to take the panel down when it’s not needed. It fits securely in the door track and works perfectly for our sliding doors. The cats have adapted to it quickly, and it’s made their outdoor adventures much easier. Highly recommend this for pet owners looking for a practical and easy-to-use solution!

Great product… just need to about 8 more inches!
This is so great! I LOVE that I can just pop it in when the weather is cool, and take it out instantly. My ONLY issue is that we have 8 ft high patio doors so there’s an open gap at the top of about 8 inches. We’ll add a piece of cardboard to accommodate. We’re in Texas and can only use it for a month or so till it’s too hot for a screen door. The dogs LOVE being able to go in and out at night. No more getting up to let them out during the night.

Good option for the price
This is a great answer for a temporary dog door. It's easy to set up, I wanted something that I didn't have to screw in or use other hardware. I like the fact that I can easily set it up and take it out. Like many other reviewers mentioned, it doesn't fit great. There's a gap where more sliders have the lock (see photo). I did purchase weather stripping and installed that on the dog door and that has helped. I would strongly recommend measuring your door first to make sure you have enough room to get out on the side of it so you don't have to take it out everytime you want to go out (I did measure and I can get out sideways, but I can get out!) It's not the highest quality, however, the price is right and it does what it says.

Low rating due to 1 major issue
1. the product is easy to install, EXCEPT for the fact that its design didn't factor in the sliding door lock mechanism that keeps the dog door from being flush to the frame, so we had to remove the lock. 2. its material seems to be sturdy enough for our 2 little ones. 3. the weather isn't a big factor, no direct sun on ours, and maybe occasional blowing rain from the patio, so only time will tell. 4. I could give a 5 star to the overall score, but for 1 MAJOR issue - who's misguided idea was it to use a frosted flap door instead of a clear one?! We HATE the frosted flap door! Animals are visual! The flap needs to be clear so they can see where they're going & what's on the other side! My 2 are having the hardest time with that! I have to push or pull the flap, just enough to show them the way is clear to go out or come in - but each time they have to use it again, they stop because they can't see. If you make a clear one, I'd appreciate a replacement please! I'm sure other pet owners have experienced the same issue, if not I will apologize. But if you provide a clear flap, or can direct me to finding one, I would, and my dogs would also, greatly appreciate it! Thanks, a semi-satisfied customer.

Works great for my Samoyed
I got a size large for my Samoyed and he fits through very well with one extension at the bottom. It is thin, but for the cheap price I kind of expected that. The weatherproof paneling is sold separately, which I didn’t realize, so until I get that or put in plexiglass I can’t use in the rain. Until I move into a more permanent location and buy a better quality door, this is going to do the trick perfectly.

Used for catio access.
I took off the swing door and put the cats' playpen, catio tunnel through it. Then made corners to stop any bugs or squirrels from coming through where the round tunnel didnt fill the rectangle corners perfectly. Now the cats can go in or out of their catio as they want. I don't have to worry about food, water, litter box, bed or toys for them outside. Just open door throw the tunnel and collapsible playpen outside and drag it back in and tie it up when done. Simple, easy, and they love it.

Perfect for screen door! But…
Was looking for something to attach to our screen door for our apartment. It doesn’t latch to the door but that’s fine. It is not however big enough for a German shepherd as it claims. We have a 50 pound doodle and she kept hitting her back on the top going through so we got the extension and it’s now perfect. Exactly what we wanted to let our pup play on the balcony and not let flies in!Separately it says to simply slide the extension in and put screws in. Um… no we had to hammer it in and we didn’t bother with the screws that didn’t line up cause it wasn’t going anywhere with how hard we had to hammer it in.

Not what I expected
I have to small poms and 1 is 5 lbs. The other is 15 lbs and neighbor could fit through the small size one I ordered it is very mis leading I would have needed the large one for small dogs. Plus it only had a screen. On hard plexiglass or nothing is useless in winter time. Was very disappointed in the details of the item. However it did fit smooth in my door but it's cold out and will have no use for it. Plus dogs won't fi through it.
