Drove from Phoenix to Kansas City and back for Christmas. Hit negative temps with windchill 20 below and this stayed snug on the car. No noise and no drag. Over 90mph passing at times with no problem. I drive a Kia Soul 6-speed. I will say, it is definitely water proof as we drove through rain and snow, but the zippers and the material get hard in the cold weather and are almost impossible to open. Best to have a heated garage to pack and unpack if you’re in freezing temps.

I haven’t used yet but I have ran the water hose over it a few time and allowed it to sit out in the sun a few hours. There was no leaks and the weatherproofing didn’t seem to crack in the sun. Im feeling this cargo carrier will keep my luggage dry and safe. I only gave the product 4 stars since I haven’t done a trip with it yet.

This cargo carrier is amazing. Just completed a 5400 mile round trip from New England to Wyoming. Traveled at speeds up to 90 MPH through wind and heavy downpours and the bag held up great. Aside from all the bug splats, it is as I'm good shape as the day I put it on the car! Only complaint is that the Velcro stars to come off from frequent opening of the bag. I crazy glued the Velcro strips back down without further issues.If you are diligently in placement, packing, and strapping, the bag stays in place and doesn't cause any noise.I am truly impressed by its performance. I also liked it's minimal sized logo, and lack of a colored stripe many other bags have.

I decided to purchase a cargo bag and started doing my research in the spring. I needed a bag that would fit all my stuff, withstand a 15-hour road trip, and not cost a lot of money. I was a little hesitant to buy online as I wanted to make sure the product would work for my SUV without racks. I looked at several products online, including the top 10 cargo bag reviews. I also went to a popular department store that specializes in camping gear, and was surprised at how expensive these bags are. I finally decided to purchase a Boacay bag. It was easy to install, stored all my things, and didn't cost a lot of money. I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

we bought it for a trip to FLORIDA from NY price was good ( now i know why ).... when we got to FLORIDA i saw it was all ripped and we did not even fill it up thank GOD!!! i have posted pictures i had to tape it up to get us home made it and i threw it out in garbage save yourselves aggravation buy a hard one like we will its really smart!!! I just bought this thing in NOVEMBER....one trip disposable i guess...

This was easy to Mount. The size was perfect for my small Hyundai Accent hatch back. It kept my stuff dry in the rain.Only issue was on the first leg of my trip; I drove from Portland, OR to Oakland, CA. When I checked the bag to see how it was holding up, the very back Velcro straps were coming off. Luckily this didn’t affect the weatherproofing. Because it was in the back and the zipper works the bag remained dry on the inside, but it was frustrating that the Velcro zipper flap was already coming off in the first 24 hour use of the bag.Makes me a little nervous about the longevity of the bag. As for now it’s held up in a cross country road trip. We’ll see how many more trips it can handle

My husband & I were flying out to meet our son on the Northern coast of Maine after he had finished working for the MCC for 4 months. He has a 2010 Prius with no rail or roof rack. We were unable to find an available rental car so this car top carrier was our solution. It came quickly after ordering and I was able to pack it in my under-the-seat tote on the plane. ( it comes neatly folded and stored in a handy drawstring storage bag ). We were able to quickly secure it to the Prius and fill it with all his camping supplies, steel toe boots, and all the other stuff he needed in the backwoods. This gave us the needed space to travel down the Maine coastline for 10 days. We never worried about it getting broken into or wet inside. It never budged on the roof at all, totally secure! I highly recommend this U.S. well-made product. It saved us a ton of money for a rental car and I can use it on our other cars as well!

We were thrilled with how well this carrier worked on our van, but by the second leg of our journey, one of the zippers came off its track. The rest of our trip, we had to be very careful about how we placed our luggage so as to not repeat with a second broken zipper. We fortunately made it through our trip with one functional zipper. We even made it through very heavy rains for a couple hours, with no moisture inside our carrier. I would have given five stars had the zipper not broken after so little use.

Worked fine on a 5,000km trip across Canada in spring 2023 moving someone to where their new job was. Lots of bad weather on the trip and it didn't leak. Needed a carrier because they have a small 2017 Hyundai Elantra sedan and needed extra space for their belongings, and this one fit the car well and worked well. Would recommend it.

Da ich nicht viel Geld für Dachträger&Dachbox ausgeben wollte, hatte ich nach alternative gesucht.Ich bin auf die Dachtasche von BOACAY aufmerksam geworden, es gibt auch andere Hersteller, aber von Design her hat mir das am besten gefallen. Ich hatte schon etwas skepsis, ob es wirklich die richtige alternative zur Dachträger& Dachbox ist; am Ende war ich sehr begeistert!Die Lieferung ist gut angekommen. Ich habe es direkt ausgepackt und mir alles genau angeschaut. Die Materialen sehen und fühlen sich robust und von qualitativ an.Bei der Aufbau war die Bedienungsanleitung nicht so einfach erklärt, aber wenn man es einmal gemacht hat, ist es nur noch einfach. Mein Wagen ist ein Kombi mit offener Reling. Es war recht einfach die Spanngurten anzubringen. Man kann vieles da rein verstauen. Vom meiner Seite konnten wir folgende Teile verstauen: 1 großer Reisekoffer, 1 mittel großer Reisekoffer, 1 kleiner Reisekoffer und der Kinderwagen.Anschließend die Dachtasche fest gespannt nach Bedienungsanleitung und los gefahren.Damit sind wir in die Türkei gefahren 3.300km! (Eine Richtung) und null Probleme gehabt. Natürlich am Anfang war ich sehr vorsichtig, ob das ganze überhaupt gut geht. Entsprechend habe ich öftersmal nachgeguckt, ob die Dachtasche verutscht ist oder ob die Spanngurten lockerer geworden sind. Alles war gut. Das Fahrverhalten wird automatisch vorsichtiger, weil der Schwerpunkt des Wagens höher liegt, durch die Dachtasche (beim Dachbox wäre es auch). Auf der Strecke hatte es auch mal geregnet und nichts wurde nass. Ab einer Geschwindigkeit von ca. 110 km/h entstehen Geräusche, viel gestört hat es uns und den Kindern nicht. Und der Vebrauch hat sich um 1 Liter / 100 km erhöht.Beim der nächsten Reise wird es wieder in den Einsatz kommen, ist echt sehr praktisch. Und verstaut wird es in einer Tasche bis zur nächste Reise. EMPEHLENSWERT!

Nous avons utilisé le sac de toit pour un voyage camping en Corse avec une petite voiture et le sac directement posé sur le toit de la voiture. Et nous sommes super contents du résultat.- Le jeu de petites sangles s'est très bien adapté à la C3. Je conseille de mettre les sangles sur le sac au sol, les passants sont très serrés et difficiles à enfiler une fois le sac plein sur le toit.- grande capacité : rempli avec des tables de camping, 4 tentes moyennes des matelas en rouleaux des couettes et encore plus. Il faut bien conserver la forme du sac en le remplissant. Eviter les choses trop molles, ça déforme le sac quand on serre les sangles et augmente le bruit et la consommation.- le système d'accroches, les passants de sangles serrés et le tapis anti dérapant font que l'installation est très stable que ce soit sur l'autoroute ou les routes de montagne.- Léger et maniable nous étions 2 femmes dont une dite "senior " pour le mettre en place et le remplir. Et tip top du top re rentre dans sa housse après utilisation pour un volume se stockage minimal.

Tas/koffer ziet er goed uit. Is over nagedacht. Wij gebruiken het voor op de vouwwagen ipv een kofferbak op de auto. Hebben nog niet gereden met volle bepakking maar hebben volle vertrouwen.!
