TEAK MINUS (step 1): is a quality-controlled biodegradable, phosphate free chemical, with no acid in the formula, specifically for the marine industry. TEAK MINUS is concentrated to breakdown the dirt, grease, oils and other pollutants that accumulate in teak wood. For a heavy clean use the portions of (1) part TEAK MINUS to (3) parts water. For a lightly soiled teak, use a dilute of (1) part TEAK MINUS with (10) parts water, or you can use our general cleaner, LEATRAIN (1) part to (3-5) parts water, and follow with TEAK PLUS. Be careful not to get this product on anodized aluminum- it will etch it! TEAK PLUS (step 2): is a quality controlled, biodegradable chemical product formulated for the use in the marine industry. It restores teak wood surface & trim to a bright, natural luster. When using TEAK MINUS, scrubbing with a soft brush will be ample enough for application. Each user can use their own experience, after becoming familiar with the use of this product, to get your desired dilution. NOTE: TEAK MINUS is not to be rinsed from teak until TEAK PLUS (our step 2) the companion neutralizer, is applied after scrubbing. After the TEAK MINUS has done its work do not rinse the MINUS before applying TEAK PLUS to the TEAK MINUS. Then rinse completely. Always use TEAK PLUS straight from the bottle for best results. it is always wise to establish your own ratio for cleaning teak. (Never clean more than 5 square feet at any one time). Always clean around varnished areas. Use plenty of water on these areas while working with both MINUS and PLUS. 1 Gallon Container.

More for boats than decks
We have a large teal deck that had been neglected for years. We had hoped using this product would restore it, but it did not. Not really blaming the product as the deck had not been properly cared for.
