I wanted to replace our 10 year old shakers which never dispensed very well due to having two holes in the top. I wanted something that was attractive, but functional, and these were perfect! Not only do they feel comfortable in your hand and are a very nice weight, they have 5 holes in the top which dispenses the salt and pepper freely. They also look great--very modern and could fit in with any decor. Very pleased with these shakers!

These are very good quality. Salt shakes through as expected. BUT it is not a salt and pepper set. It is a set of two salt shakers. Even very fine pepper will not go through the holes. I can't believe that a product so well made makes such an unacceptable mistake. I attempted to contact the manufacturer and discovered it is in China. Not surprisingly, my attempt to contact them failed.

I like the modern look, I only needed them for salt. However it seems nobody makes the proper sized holes for Kosher Salt. That is the only type of salt we use and the holes are made for the small sized table salt. So I got out my drill with the size of a drill bit that would allow kosher salt to pass through and carefully drilled the holes making them large enough for the kosher salt to pass through and now they are perfect! We use the Unicorn pepper mill(the best one ever) so we don’t need a pepper shaker, so we have two glass salt shakers and they work great now after modifying them. Just be careful not to let the drill bit slip when you’re drilling your holes or you’ll scratch the top of the metal top. I accidentally did that on one of the 6 holes I drilled. Maybe eventually someone will make a lid on their salt shakers just for kosher salt then no modifications would be necessary. :)

These salt and pepper shakers are easy to hold, clean and would make a lovely gift. They look so graceful on my dining table, very elegant.

Got these to replace a pair of shakers that “leaked” salt and pepper around the threads. These have a design that prevents leakage, they look refined but not excessively fancy. The pour is perfect, the heft just right. Very happy with my purchase.

Only had them a couple of weeks and the lids are rusting. Great size and design but isn’t there. Very disappointing.
