I use this as a mattress as I have limited space and needed something that could be rolled up and stored. It certainly does that and seems very well made, plus I love the colours and the eco-credentials. It is a bit hard to be used as a mattress on its own - I added a cheap mattress topper and that makes a huge difference. There's no springiness which takes a bit of getting used to if you are switching from a sprung mattress, but I'd say it's similar to sleeping on a futon (with the topper). Overall I'm very happy with it!

I choose this as a guest bed for myself whilst visiting relatives over the festive period. When I first opened it I was concerned at how firm and rigid it felt. However, when I put my sleeping bag onto it and laid down my fears were allayed. It was really supportive in the right places and I had a really comfortable night's sleep. I would recommend it for this use.

So, I sleep on the floor all the time amd have gone through quite a few variations on this theme, futons, sponge etcThis has proved to be the most comfortableIt’s resistant when you first lay on it and yes it feels a little weird when you lay on it but it’s really goodI read some reviews that said it smelt, Mine did not smell at allIt also comes with an attached tie up which I was pleased aboutIt’s excellent but obviously it’s only my opinion but I hope it helps

Decided to buy this as an alternative to a traditional mattress, for both eco reasons and the fact that I like a harder sleeping surface. Its very comfortable and only took two nights to get used to the ridges, which are incredibly comfortable. I use this as my permanent mattress and also travel between locations so is very easy to roll up and move. Down side is that my bottom has slightly compressed the middle area, but have found that putting a yoga mat or thick blanket underneath seems to sort that problem out. Will likely buy another.
