I used the brick and wood grain on fondant for my gingerbread house. I definitely would suggest pressing into fondant after you have in place on your cake or cookie. This worked perfectly for what I wanted!

These would be amazing for something a little softer than polymer clay. I found that the clay would almost push the mold out of shape distorting the print on the clay!

I bought this package specifically for the brick pattern. It was terrible. I should’ve realized a silicone pattern could never look like the photos they show. I’m an experienced cake maker and only a hard plastic impression tool can give these perfect bricks. Not only is the silicone too flimsy but the pattern in the silicone has these weird wavy parts. This is definitely from the way it was made. So a defective part. But it’s all over. So you have to go over those parts and basically try to smooth out the area. I guess it’s a case of “you get what you pay for”. Do yourself a favor and find a plastic press.

Good molds. Work well for what I need to do.

Molds are sturdy, not flimsy. Details are very good. Only thing I didn't notice before ordering (as in I didn't read carefully) - one column mold is deeper and one is a bit shallow. I am now creating new projects for the flatter column! They can go in keychains and be embedded on other larger resin molds. What I thought was a negative turns out to be a postitive.

Lines aren’t clean. Was stretched when pulled out of the mold of something, the lines are all messed up. Squiggly. Don’t recommend.

I didn’t like the brick at all. They’re very skinny bricks. They don’t even really look like a normal that would.
