The SENSE-ible Harness Gently Stops Dogs From Pulling. The SENSE-ible Harness is a front-leash attachment harness - very different from the "sled dog" style of most harnesses on the market. The leash attaches to a ring on the chest, so you can provide more accurate cues to your dog as to the direction that you want to go. It reduces pulling and often enables a smoother, more enjoyable walk for both dog and human. Quality hardware and construction Nylon curved side-release buckle and belt loops. Nickel-plated metal slide adjusters and welded o-rings. For best results, please measure your dog to ensure a proper fit. The Softouch Training method applies horse training concepts to teach dogs not to jump, lunge, forge or pull. It also assists with teaching commands such as: sit, down, wait, come, stand and heel. Dogs learn quickly with their SENSE of touch and natural instincts without stress or injuries. Available in blue, black or red. Measure your dog's girth using a tape measure. Measure around the body (the rib cage) behind the front legs. 17 - 21" Girth = X-Small (12 - 20 lbs), 21.5 - 24" Girth = Small (21 - 33 lbs), 24.5 - 28 " Girth = Medium (34 - 60 lbs), 27 - 33" Girth = Medium/Large in 3/4" Narrow or 1" Wide (40 - 75 lbs), 32.5 - 40" Girth = Large (70 - 130 lbs), 39 - 50" Girth = X-Large (131 - 200 lbs).

Walking game changer!
My dog is a rescue and the first day I got her she pulled like crazy and walking her was a nightmare. As soon as this harness came it changed everything! It doesn't interfere with her gate and stays in place well. I've always had trouble using the easy walk harness but this one works well. The instruction booklet it came with said to gently pull up to stop pulling more instead of tugging back and that changed the way I walk her too. I have so much more control and it's been a essential tool in training her to walk well and not react to people and dogs. The first few days she was still learning to be calm on walks so because of all of her extreme reactions she got a sore in her armpit, but I think it's more her fault than the harness.

Wonderful Solution to Pulling, Until He Ate It
We were given our first SENSE-ible harness by a fellow poodle owner, who swore that it would convert our pull-crazy year old standard poodle into a well mannered walker. It did, and the transformation was amazing. Before SENSE-ible, walking the poodle has been a combination of violent tugging (on his part) and virtually constant "No Pull!!!" statements on ours. With SENSE-ible, he trots neatly along beside us, pulling neither to the right nor to the left. And so it went for two happy months. Then, he discovered that he could chew the harness, and (in the process of destroying it) free himself. In response, we simply ordered another harness -- two, in fact, we really like it. On the second day of use, while lying quietly by our side as we watched an informative video in a tourist center, he dispatched harness number two -- no sound, no visible motion, just a shredded harness. We are not trying again with harness number three until we are in a situation where we can be sure that the harness will be in place only when the dog is in motion. My experience, I think, should not be taken as typical -- at least not the harness-eating part. The person who gave us the harness is now on their fourth standard poodle, swears by the harness, and has never had it eaten. And, until our poodle became a harness-eater, he was a transformed dog -- it was a real pleasure to walk with him. What we will do now, we are not quite sure. Hunt for a metal harness, perhaps.

Love this harness!
I love this harness. I have three dogs (50lb spaniel mix, a 60lb Dobie mix and a 100lb German Shepherd). I use this on all of them and none of them pull or choke them selves like they do when I use a regular collar. I recommend them to all my friends who have dogs. They are easy to put on and use. they also last a long time. I had to purchase this one after the buckle on the one I have had for over 10yrs broke. Only thing I would change on this harness is to put metal buckles on it instead of plastic.

It helps
I use it in conjunction with a gentle leader to control a very dog and cat reactive escape artist. And locking leashes.

Great Harness
As a puppy, upon the recommendation of her puppy school trainer, our Sadie began using this harness. It proved to be a wonderful aid in training her to walk nicely. Pulling and jumping have been alleviated. Even without the harness on now, she is sensitive and responsive to leash cues. In addition, I know that she is secure and safe in the back seat of the car when traveling with the harness. The harness is not around her neck, so that if an impact were to happen, she would not be strangled. She is tethered to the car by a 1-1/2 foot leash so she has room to move, sit up and lay down. I bought the new, larger size harness mostly for the car, but will use it, if necessary, for walks as well.

Must have for dogs who pull
Easy to use after you get it adjusted which is tricky. You will love the results. I have tried them all and this is the only one that really works! Yeah for leading from the front.

Don't get taken for a walk.
This really did make a difference in walking my dog, we love it. Unfrotunately my Airedale chewed through it the 5th walk... oh well still a good product.

Broke under pressure
I used to love this harness, I used these exclusively for both of my dogs. Tonight however, my little girl saw a bunny and lunged really hard, the harness snapped in two places and she ran off chasing the bunny into the woods. Luckily there were no cars and she went right into the woods after crossing the road. I ran like I was still in high school and after about 2 minutes I was able to chase her down. She is a 34 pound labradoodle and the harness should not have snapped.
