Kenroy Home 51120WG Gantry Table Fountain with Gray Finish, Rustic Style, 18.25" Height, 10" Width, 6" Depth

Bought this unit to replace another Kenroy table fountain that had lasted15 years or so. Quality of this one is much worse. The "slate" in the description is actually a painted floor tile. what appears to be a waterfall effect down several pieces of slate is a myth. The overall construction is cheap stamped metal. Not very attractive and no comparison to the old unit which had actual slate pieces and a stone base. The two pieces are just placed one on the other with no fasteners to hold them together- could very easily tip over. The instructions also do not show how to set up the LED light bar. It's not rocket science but still no help whatsoeverOn the plus side, the pump seems high quality and sturdy, with a heavy duty cord.

I love this waterfall! It was really easy to put together and it was the perfect size. I put it out on my balcony and it is perfect for relaxing and having that nice waterfall sound.

The media could not be loaded.  I had originally written an overwhelmingly favorable review of this tabletop fountain.I love its looks and construction.Unfortunately, after some weeks of use, I had problems with both the LED array and pump.First, one of the LED's in the six-LED array in the base of the fountain gave out, after just a few weeks of use.In my experience, tabletop fountain LED failures are quite common, but this was the quickest failure I've ever experienced.Then one day the pump wouldn't start up. I checked the instructions, changed the water, cleaned the inside of the base, opened the pump, found the impeller was stuck in position and gave it a twist. I also let the pump and base soak for some time in warm water with liquid detergent.I put everything back together only to find that now more LED's were not coming on. Yikes!At least the pump seemed to be working -- for a day. When I tried the next morning to turn it on, again -- nothing.The good news is KH replaced the LED array under the fountain's one-year warranty, and so far it is working well.I also think I found a solution to the pump problem: I add some anti-algae liquid once a week or so (see the water treatment products listed on this page), and that seems to keep the water free of algae and the slime it leaves on the fountain surfaces, including components in the pump.So I am restoring one star to my review, provided I have no further issues with the pump or LED array.PROS:* Clean simple design.* Enjoyable to watch, listen to.* One-year warranty.CONS:* First LED array quit in just a few months.* Algae can gum up pump.UPDATE: It has now been a year since I got this fountain, and all has been well.On days when the pump won't start after I plug it in, I just keep it plugged in for a while and let the motor warm up. Then I unplug it and plug it back in, and the pump will start up after a few tries.Otherwise, the replacement LED array has been holding up fine. I think the first one developed some shorts in the wiring, rather than blown LED's.The fact is, it has been months since I've had to open up the fountain to fiddle with the pump or the LED's, so I would say that after the rough start described above, the fountain has proved to be surprisingly easy to maintain.Just remember to add algae treatment once or twice a week -- and set the water flow on the pump to about the halfway mark. (The manufacturer should probably have included this detail in their instructions!)

The fountain is well made with a steel frame that would be great for painting or decorating. The included LED strip did not work, but the attachments are very simple and make it easy to swap out. The pump is VERY loud, most likely because the installation does not make it possible to fix it securely in place. A new pump or extending tubing would be better.

When opening packages , styrofoam gets all over. Sticks to your hair, clothes furniture. Product light transformer had white stuff all over it, presumably, styrofoam. What a mess. Not sure if this is a seller issue or Amazon issue . What a nightmare getting this mess cleaned up and out of my hair!!!!
