Not thick and waxy like expected, but it works
I used this on a wood battle sword my kids got from Renaissance. It wasn't thick and waxy like I thought it should be, but with a few coats it shined up like the stuff I had got with the sword. For me, the product did what I wanted it to. Softened the wood a bit, kept it from splintering, deepened the color of the wood like a stain, and it protects from water and discoloration.

Not just for wood!
I cannot even express how much I love this product. At first I ordered it for sealing/polishing some wooden baby toys, which I did. But I found it worked wondered for my dry hands. I then tried it on my lips. This is amazing stuff that smells divine. I put a small amount in a little screw top container and carry it with me in my purse. Amazing. I still use it on wood, especially my cutting boards. A multi purpose product!
