EF ECOFLOWSolar Angle Guide

If you use solar panels you'll want this to know when you are properly aligned to the sun. Just clip it on the top of your panels and keep the dot in the center and you will be at your peak angle for charging. Not much else I can say, it works and for the $ it's totally worth it.

Simply clip it on the upper corner of the solar collector. And then aligning it to the sun is fool proof, once the dark spot is in the center of the circle the solar collector is optimized to charge the generator as fast as possible. Prior to getting this simple device I was aligning the solar collector based on what I thought was best. Prior to clipping it on the solar collector I aligned it up looked at the changing rate then I clipped in on and then found that it was sort of close. I then aligned it with the solar angle guide and watched the solar collector almost 50% faster. Well worth the few dollars it cost.

I wanted a compact solar alignment tool that would easily clip onto my portable panel. The Ecoflow model is exactly what I was looking for. The only issue is the clip is so tight out of the box that it would take a lot of force to slide on and potentially cause damage.Fortunately it is an easy fix:Force open the clamp with cardboard or something similar to the desired gap matching the panel. Heat up the clamp with a hair dryer and then let it cool. As shown in the picture, the plastic clamp will permanently deform and now has a gap that allows easy slide on and off of the panel. Just be careful to only spread the clamp open far enough to create the small gap and not break.There is a strong reflection looking straight at it from the front, but it is virtually eliminated looking from the side and the alignment shadow is still visible as shown in the pictures using a flashlight.Hopefully Ecoflow addresses the clamp in future models, but it is worth purchasing and taking the extra step to widen the clamp gap in my opinion.

Bought this based on a recommendation on a solar panel. Glad I did since this little item works great. Easily line up my panels to the best direction and angle.

I love this simple device so much that I bought one for every panel. The cost is reasonable for the assistance they add. Get the exact angle you need to maximize your solar output. Leave it attached to your panel, and you can easily re-adjust the angle as the sun moves. I have a battery storage system with portable solar panels. I was stunned to see the panel output increase as I optimized the panel angles with tiny changes based on this device.

This product by ECOFLOW is very accurate and great to have when using your solar panel. It shows the best angle to catch the rays of the sun for your solar panel. It also has a clip that you can clip it onto the solar panel. The ECOFLOW solar angle guide comes in a neat little box and comes with a user's manual. Great job! ECOFLOW. Thank you.

Well I saw this and bought this in anticipation for my delivery of new EcoFlow Generator with Solar Panels... I never got to use it...why... because my son ALSO ordered the same EcoFlow with Solar Panels as I did, and HE immediately began using his Solar Panels from day one. I went over to see how it was trying to find a best location. He has Trees in EAST and an opening in the South for a period of time.. HE actually has a great front patio, and sits outside (how healthy is that) Has a personal patio umbrella to shade his corner of patio furniture couch. And works ALL DAY using the Solar Panels... SO I gave him this tool, to put it on the Solar Panels and realized..it was close to Fathers Days and HE was fully using his panels, so I said, "Well Happy Fathers Day...you might as well keep this"!I have LOTS of SUN in my backyard, and now I put out my panels and move them with the movement of the sun from East to West dodging huge West tree...BUT I do not know if I am "SPOT ON" for best recharge... I WILL BE ORDERING ANOTHER ONE FOR MYSELF...Cannot vouge for the other brands but EcoFlow is a keeper!

Works as intended. I think its a bit over-priced for what it does, but it is what it is.

Great idea for getting angle of panels just right. I agree with other reviewers that shiny reflective outer surface also reflect the sun's rays directly into your eyes when attempting to position it correctly.
