GUDA DRUM Freezbee with Soft Brown Rope Decoration

I use a hard rubber mallet with tightly wrap yarn on the mallet head. You can use your fingers, but you get a more muted sound; this is a tongue drum, which usually requires a mallet to deliver a good level/loudness of sound. I didn't like the way a hard rubber mallet or wood mallets sounded, I find the hard rubber mallet that have the head wrapped in yarn/string the most pleasant sounding.I've had my drum for a more than six months and it's in the same condition as the day I received it. My animals really like it when I play, the all gather around and drift off, until I stop playing.

I did a lot of research (listening to various tongue drums) and chatted with a gouda representative on the best scale for my purposes, and the best drum. She guided me to the guda freebee, arcane scale. I love the drum. Beautiful sound.I am a drummer, so I like playing the drum with my Vic Firth sd12 swizzle sticks to get a bolder sound (but the softer finger playing gives more complex tones) A good purchase

This drum is so pleasent. It's easy to play and since it's set up in a chord you can't really play a wrong note.
