I was initially skeptical of the negative reviews, but after installing four different types of light fixtures recently, this is without question the most poorly designed fixture I have encountered. First, I ordered two identical sets of this product but received two different versions. Both require a universal mounting bracket due to the spacing of the mounting screws, yet only one of the fixtures included the correct bracket. While this was not impossible to work around, it was an odd and frustrating oversight. Second, the length of the central threaded rod (all-thread) could not be adjusted because the interior nut appeared to be friction-welded to it. As a result, the rod was too short to properly install the glass, antlers, and final retaining nut, making full assembly impossible. The wiring itself is functional, which is the only part of this product that appears to have been designed with care. Overall, I am very disappointed in the engineering and quality control of this fixture. I would strongly advise anyone considering this product to look elsewhere.

The light was a gift for Christmas. The recipient loved it. It shows the bright lighting they had hoped for. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. Very pleased with my experience. They actually plan to order a second one for another area. They have a log home, so it fits their decor nicely.

I loved this light! It matches my ceiling fans perfectly. Unfortunately, it can not be hung on a pitched (slanted) ceiling. I had to return it.

I had to purchase 2 of these, 1st came broken, no problem, switched for another. I have a cabin; this light went into a low light location (peak of a frame) At the time of purchase there were not so many comments of the green tint. I knew the antlers were resin, and they looked realistic enough, but over the past year they have turned green. REALLY GREEN! waste of money and an eyesore.

This is a nice fixture for the right room in your house. When i assembled it the antlers had a defect so one broke when i put the shade over the antlers. I reported it and another one was sent right away so i was very pleased with that.

looks good but the instructions suck. took me quite a bit of time to figure out where the washers and bolts went and then you nitice that the screws are too long....once assembled pretty good.
