GAFELL - Black Soybean Noodles, Organic, Gluten Free, 5.64 OZ

This is a great soy noodle, great chewy texture and really pleasent taste. I’ve been switching between keto and just low carb for several years, and I bought these in a low carb phase. They were super delicious with Asian inspired dishes and even worked well with Italian! They also store well for a very long time. I thought the one little cake as a serving would be too small, but it’s totally enough and great for portion control.However, when I got back on keto, I was having a noodle craving and thought I’d try a little bundle. Blood sugar spikes make me tired on keto, and I basically fell into a coma nap after just one portion with plenty of meat and fat. Could feel the blood heating my face as if I’d just eaten French fries. Doesn’t mean they’re not delicious, just that if you are a “lazy keto” person like me and think you can shove these in your macros, um girlfriend think twice.

I really enjoyed these noodles. Prepared per instructions and it was very easy, the noodles were very chewy and a bit salty. The water I boiled it in was tinted the same color as the noodles. It was also very filling. I would buy again although this is a bit on the expensive side cost per serving-wise.

If you have realistic expectations for this to not taste like typical pasta, then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It has a slightly chewier texture, which I liked, and the noodles were pretty sturdy. I have been on a low carb diet fora few months now, and think this is an excellent alternative to pasta/noodles. I made my own sauce, and enjoyed a good meal. I hope to make "ramen" next, with the last of my noodles.

Good low carb option. I like the flavor and texture better than shirataki noodles. Mild, nutty flavor, and chewy texture. Don't expect real pasta - but a good option for a low carb diet.

There are few noodles for the price paid.
