The Best! Everyone in my family has them.
The Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Glove is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made for my winter sports gear. These classic 5-finger gloves are designed for skiing and snowboarding, and they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Pros: Exceptional Warmth: The warmth provided by these gloves is outstanding. Even in the coldest conditions, my hands remain toasty. The combination of the high-quality insulation and the windproof exterior keeps the chill out effectively. Durability: These gloves are built to last. The army leather palms and the Hestra Triton fabric on the back of the hand are tough and resistant to wear and tear. After several trips, they still look and feel new. Comfort and Fit: The fit is perfect and true to size. The gloves are comfortable right out of the box and don’t require a break-in period. The wrist strap and drawstring closure help to secure the gloves tightly, preventing snow from getting inside. Dexterity: Despite their warmth and bulk, these gloves offer great dexterity. I can easily adjust my gear, handle my ski poles, and use my phone without needing to take them off. Versatility: They are perfect for a range of winter activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. I’ve used them for hiking, snowmobiling, and even just shoveling snow, and they perform excellently in all situations. Cons: Price: The only downside is the price, which is on the higher end for gloves. However, considering the quality, durability, and performance, they are worth the investment for serious winter sports enthusiasts. Bulkiness: They are a bit bulkier than some other gloves, but this is a minor issue given the superior warmth and protection they offer. In summary, the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Glove is an outstanding product that delivers on all fronts. They are warm, durable, comfortable, and versatile, making them a perfect choice for anyone who spends a lot of time in cold, snowy conditions. While they are an investment, the performance and longevity of these gloves make them worth every penny. Highly recommended!

No complaints, liking them!
Loved the look and feel of these gloves and paired them with Hestra wrist straps. Stayed warm and dry in mild climate of around -5C to 5C. Appear well made with comfortable materials.

Decent winter glove.
Bought a size up so I can wear a SmartWool glove as a base layer. Nice leather and quality. Average warmth for a fingered glove in this range. White leather palms got dirty quickly but still looks good enough otherwise.

Tricky fit (insulation compresses) but very nice, esp. for spring
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked these gloves for downhill, on-piste skiing in spring conditions (April in Europe), but I found them cold in February. The padding compressed quite a bit with 20 days of wear skiing, so they went from a decently snug fit to way too loose. I liked the quality of the fabric and the sewing, the comfortable safety wrist straps, the easy of putting them on and taking them off, and the ability to remove the liners (though that's hard!). I did not find them waterproof when skiing in spring conditions and occasionally with rain. They were easy to slip on and off, and I never dropped them thanks to the safety cord/elastic wrist collar. I loved them but found myself wishing they were warmer in February.

9 years old and going strong
I'm not one of those people who counts how many days I ski each year, but I live in a resort area and ski a LOT. I bought these prior to the 2016-17 season, and they've been my only gloves for 9 winters. The leather on the palms and fingers is pliable but tough. They have some nicks from ski edges, but nothing all the way through the leather. The fabric and stitching are perfect after almost a decade. I slap some Sno-Seal on the leather once a year, but otherwise don't baby them. I did notice my fingertips getting cold on some particularly nasty days the last couple of years. I just bought a set of genuine Hestra replacement liners which made me realize that my old liners were pretty packed out. I expect to have toasty digits in all conditions next winter. There's room under the liners for an additional silk liner which I also picked up just in case. These are actually the cheapest gloves I've ever owned, if I divide the purchase price by the number of years they've kept me warm, dry, and shredding!

Worth every penny, especially in cold weather!
Bought these in spring and have been waiting months for my first try. These did not disappoint at all. My hands were toasty warm and the large gauntlets allow you to put it over jacket. Ok dexterity considering the size, but I got their Hestra liners as well to use with my phone and the combo worked like a charm. I just started skiing last year, in my forties, live south of where anyone could easily go skiing, so I wanted something that will last. These gloves, I’m reading from reviews, ski stores, and word of mouth, last forever so they’re worth the investment. Anything to keep my digits warm in cold weather, I’m down. I may check out Heatra’s socks next based off these gloves. The Hallow socks my buddy gave me work ok, not great but ok. Definitely double up with liners that can control a cell phone screen though. These gloves are too bulky and don’t work on a screen. It’s like the Hulk using an iPhone.

I'm a snowmobiler and I will say hands down the best gloves you can buy, warm dry hands all day. my last pair I've had for about 6 years or seasons, worn for many many hours look near new, they are very durable, I've finally retired them as I started to find they seemed to of lost its breathability this last season, that said I'm pulling on trees and handlebars and rolling sleds over and all that good stuff, stitching held up just fine, I apply the leather conditioner every so often. The big thing with these is the replaceable liners, so as you use a glove and especially holding handlebars is the liner gets sacked out inside and worn out. So after 2-3 seasons. I replaced the liner. Where as your other general gloves don't have a liner so you buy a new pair... I've found a them snowmobile branded gloves like klim, motor fist, etc etc of similar price range have a plastic bag inside the glove still and non removable liners, which means they don't breathe and that's what makes them "water proof*. Also note the hestra Heli ski gore tex variant does Not have a removable liner which is a real bummer, for skiers it may be ok but it's an extra $50, not worth it Imo. Hestra own breathable shell of the glove works well and is like gore tex anyways.
