AicevoosGas Leak Detector for Combustible Gas

My wife thought she smelled gas after I installed a new water heater. I didn’t smell gas, nor did our kids. However, I purchased this “just in case”. It was easy to set up and use. There was no gas. However, to satisfy my curiosity and ensure it was working correctly, I turned on the gas on my outdoor grill and the tester went wild! I took it back to my water heater and no alarms. My wife sleeps better knowing there is no gas leak. Great device!

Everyone should have one of these in your home. Use it once a month to check for leaks. We had a lot of construction in our area and had 3 leaks in our home. Gas company came and repaired it but I’m homebound and was almost forced to evacuate. I purchased this and now we check monthly to ensure our safety.

Very useful

This was probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. Some reviews knocked it but I've honestly found this to be amazing. Accuracy is off the charts. Picks up leaks that normal meters miss. Bit of advice there are 2 models. Seems most of the complaints are about the cheaper model because it doesn't seem to be as sensative....you get what you pay for. If you want better performance than pay for it and stop complaining

I knew I had a natural gas pipeline leak on my farm, I just wasn’t sure where.This little gadget helped me find some but missed some as well. The issues I had with it were latency. I found a leak with the gas bubbling out of the ground and it took several seconds to recognize it. That’s not good enough for what I was using it for.Secondly, and this is the reason I returned it was it started beeping indicating the batteries were weak. I bought three sets of batteries and each set showed one bar and the screen wasn’t as bright as it was the first time I used it.It may be okay for checking your gas stove or small applications but it didn’t work well or very long for pipeline leaks.

Not as advertised. This "detector" does not detect sewer gas. The building I rent has a SEVERE sewer gas problem and this "detector" does not register it.

I have customers that call for gas leaks where the gas company has taken their meter or locked them out of gas. I has found several leaks with this and found one the other day under a top and bottom stove and I space I could barely get arm into. I locating leak and changed leaking supply line. Catastrophe averted.

Works perfectly with colour display - used when changing over regulator+piping for our LPG system. Recommended

El detector, en un primer momento, funcionó bien. El problema es que ese primer momento solo duró 15 días. Evidentemente debería devolverlo pero no se si me admitirán la devolución ya que no tengo el embalaje original.Una pena.

Ich habe dieses Gerät hauptsächlich gekauft, um bei meinen gasbetriebenen Campinggeräten (Kocher, Lampen etc.) eine Dichtheitsprüfung durchführen zu können. Das Gerät zeigt bereits sehr geringe Gasmengen zuverlässig an. Versuchsweise habe ich es auch mit LPG Autogas und R32 Kältemittel testen können. Auch hier war die Anzeige zuverlässig.

Bought this to used on our caravan and home. Due to being able to detect different gases, it’s ideal in the caravan especially when changing propane bottles. It also detects most other gases like, Butane, Methane, Co2 and Natural Gas etc. Easy to use and compact enough to carry and store. For under £20, it’s literally a life saver!
