The media could not be loaded. I love the umbrella, it is so pretty! And looks so great. The design is super cute. It is pretty sturdy I don’t recommend in super windy days or heavy rain days! But average/light rain and sunny days! Great for sun protection! Worth the money! As long as you use wisely!

I got this umbrella to hang upside down as a pendant lamp shade. It adds exotic elegance to the room. I put one of those mult-color lightbulbs inside it, the kind GE makes.Some people mentioned difficulty in unfolding the umbrella. I was uncharacteristically patient with it, and laid it by a heat source for an hour to "soften" the oil and paper. This made it much easier to open. I very gingerly teased the rods and paper out from the folded/packaged condition, and gradually opened it fully over about an hour. Slow and steady won the race. No tearing at all. Give it a few hours to off-gas and you're set. There is a latch in the handle rod that locks the umbrella in the fully open position.

I was happy to get this for summer not only is it big enough to block the sun it is not heavy at all to carry. Its colors and pattern are also very beautiful!However It might be a bit delicate to tearing on the surface, however I really have no complaints. Great product.

I was looking for an Asian style umbrella that I could attach to an arbor in my garden. I came across this beauty and thought it would be perfect to coordinate with two blue and white Asian style garden stools that I placed at the sides of the arbor.While the style, size, and quality is perfect for my needs, the colour is not true to the photo as listed. It arrived and I was disappointed that it is more of a purple tone and not a true blue.Although the colour is not as represented, and not what I was expecting, I chose to install it anyway because it truly adds life to my garden bed.I would have given 5 stars if it were the colour represented.

Due to the rain proof coating, the umbrella sticks to itself when closed. Took me 20 minutes to fully open the thing. The opening process slightly damaged the coating which left spots.The wood holding the parasol open seems weak like it might break at any time. So far so good though.The design is cool, and I’m still happy to give this as the intended gift, but I wouldn’t suggest using it for anything but decoration.

I don't understand the problems some of the lower reviews seem to be having. Mine opened fairly easily, with no tearing or sticking, and performed admirably in the rain.
