MRP XCg Micro Bash Guard ISCG-05 30T Black

Fit my 2018 Specialized SJ Expert with little effort. 30T fits just slightly lower than chainring sits. In my opinion, might have opted for 31T version if they had one and after seeing it installed. Looks so nice I don't really want to tear it up by jumping over obstacles but will save chain damage if I don't make it.

I love that this thing is solid aluminum. Everything else this size has a plastic or nylon replaceable part. This feels so solid and does the job perfectly. It's very discreet behind the chain ring. I used all three washers on each screw to get it nice close to the chainring. The washers were a little finicky to get on but otherwise installation was super simple.

This is the second bash guard I have used over the past 5 years on a couple of different MTB's. They install easy and work great, no issues or problems.

Didn't fit my frame, thought my bike was listed as being compatible. Drilled some new holes to get it to work.

Easy to mount, light weight, shipped quickly. Hopefully I don't bash anything and don't need it, but I'm glad I have the protection.
