This works perfectly for my 38 Gallon dome front tank. My Acai Cichlids love to play in the current it creates! Best part is it truly is whisper quiet! I read a couple negative reviews and they are false! I have run the 660 for 4 month straight and never had an issue. I only wish it had an on off switch so I could easily shut it down during feeding time. It tends to push some of the food straight to the opposite side and right into the filters intake. But, it helps circulate the tank and keep everything moving. Very happy purchase over the noisy pump I bought before this and now sit is the closet.****update, I bought the 1320 as well and bought a couple line switches so I could turn them on and off as needed. Works great!

I didn’t actually use it because I was afraid it might break the glass of my tank. The magnet was Extremely strong...way too strong...so strong I seriously worried about it acting so erratically when the magnets got close enough to attract each other. They are so strong that it really hurt me when they snapped together with such force. I’d be careful using this on glass and definitely don’t let kids play with it; no joke, they might lose a finger.Other than that it was here on time and in seemingly good shape, I didn’t even plug it in.

*I am rewriting this review under a year later again* **UPDATE 10-23-2018**The replacement unit that I received from them is doing the exact same thing the first one did. I have to regularly unplug the unit to almost "reset it" because it loses a lot of the flow for some reason. I am tossing this unit and getting something more expensive.Not to mention that the ball joint for moving it is not nearly tight enough so it easily moves with the slightest movement.I initially got a defective item. I posted a review that reflected that.The company contacted me right away and sent me a replacement circulation pump (that came a couple days early) and it works absolutely amazing.The flow is great and the fact that you can adjust the flow direction on each one with the added pieces is really nice.Thanks again SONGJOY for your amazing customer support.

3600GPH is probably not accurate and it may have been estimated under certain conditions, I purchased this for a 100 gal pond which seems to be working and circulating the water good enough. My Kois are not hanging around the water fall to get more air but, where the pumps connect to the suction cups is quite flimsy, I am bolting the suction cup to a board and sitting in on a sender block? and holding it down with a rock. again where the pump connect to the suction cup is quite unstable. I had to add a plastic screen mesh over the intake to keep the floating particles out of ther impeller cavity. for the price, nothing else comes close.

BE CAREFUL - I lost 2 4"+ goldfish in my pond due to this thing and left one goldfish with tattered fins and a red scaleless butt. The housing in the front of the impellers is NOT ENOUGH especially for goldfish as they can get inside and become hurt or killed. The products claim pet safety, but the tri-grate in the front is NOT ENOUGH. I didn't realize what was happening to my fish until it was too late and I found a body in the housing. The first 2 incidents left no trace due to the strong power of the impellers, just remains elsewhere in the pond. I did not even think this was what was going on at first because the device propels water away and does not pull toward. I thought my bottom drain and pump was the one causing issue - which to me did not make since but was the only plausible explanation at the time. I still do not know or understand how the fish ended up in the predicaments they did.Overall it is a great product for wave generation, it is just not safe for fish who aren't great swimmers and or slow. If they added not only a better guard grate on the front as well as on the accessory that goes on top that allows you to control the direction, then it would have solved this issue and my fish would still have been alive. In fact, the slits they have on the housing AROUND the device should have been used on the FRONT as well. That would make it pet safe for just a little bit of reduction of power - but the device is already very strong.

Added to my aquaponic garden pond to keep water circulating for the fish.Works great.I did have one incident where a small fish (minnow sized) somehow got trapped within the impeller housing. The incident caused one of the impellers to come off track/out of the drive shaft slot. It was an easy fix as accessing the impeller area is as simple as "unsnap, reset the drive shaft, snap back together, and voila".For the most part, the housing does a good job of keeping fish out of the impeller housing.

The wave maker is quiet and powerful when it works. Mine failed after a few months: broken impeller shaft. I was provided a replacement after I contacted the seller. However, the replacement did not hold very long. After a few months, it failed again due to the same problem: broken impeller shaft. After examining the unit, it seems to be a design flaw: the impeller shaft is fixed on one end only, and thus the vibration leads to its failure. I searched but could not find replacement impeller shaft. Contacted the seller and inquired whether it sells replacement impeller shaft, but did not receive any response. What a waste to throw away the entire unit due to a failed impeller shaft!

The lever for the suction cup broke. I ended up using a suction cup from the last one I bought that broke as well. I have ordered 5 wavemakers in the past month and all of them have broke. Before this last month they all lasted at least 6 months but now I can't get 30 minutes of use out of one without them breaking. They all shear the shaft off on the impeller right by the magnet.*update* Less than a week and this is going in the trash bin. They shear the shaft near the impeller

The size is enormous and bulky. Flow is pretty strong and works well so far. But size is a deal breakerEdit: the powerhead start making a lot of noise on the glass after few months in, not sure if this normal or not. But its in my bedroom and this is getting annoying

The wavemaker is not strong enough for a 75 gallon tank.

I bought my air waver for my saltwater tank when I received wave maker doesn’t described what it says on the details.. when I put in my tank the front part fell off it didn’t stick on the window of the tank.,took me time to fix the waver I was frustrated that all the pieces where folling off I’m not happy with this item sorry very disappointed

Avec ces sorties orientable l'eau circule tres bien dans ma 90gal. Ke support magnétique va aussu tres bien.

I keep asking the fish if they like it but they never say one way or another. Keep selling the debris from settling on the anubias and I like to think that the fish are having a good time in there. Would they be happier in the Amazon river? Maybe...
