I can write a whole article about why I gave a 1 star review but I’m gonna cut it short. Title states “heat control”, however, it does not serve its purpose. Heat and glare still pass through the window as if the windows are not tinted. Usually tints have a percentage scale of how much light you want transmitted through the tint but Vvivid thought to themselves “it doesn’t matter what the consumer wants, we’ll give them one option and falsely advertise that it will satisfy the needs for window tint.” I was passed around from Representative to representative when I tried contacting them with my concern and ended up sending a descriptive email and 5 days later, no reply. I Highly encourage anyone looking at Vvivid’s tint to buy from another brand. 1 being my personal favorite, Solar Gard. Highly disappointed in Vvivid. PS: the pictures attached are the tinted windows, the tint is just so light it barely looks like it’s tinted.

I put this on a window in our laundry room a year ago. It was super easy to put on (after watching some tutorials and buying a window tinting installation "kit" that included dust cloth, solution (water works too), squeegy and razor.) The laundry room gets direct sunlight in the afternoon and would get crazy hot. After installing the tint the room stays MUCH cooler. Note that looking out the window on a bright day it looks overcast because it's dark. Love it! During the day, from the outside the windows appear black - looks great. At night you can see into the house if the light inside is on.So, keeps out tons of heat, looks great. Now, to address some of the negative reviews - creases and installation. The first time I ordered a small role, the 16x60 - it came perfect, no creases. The second time I ordered the big role - 60x72 or something like that. It was in a huge tube, and like others said, it had collapsed on itself a bit. I didn't really "crease" but it was a bit crumpled, and the piece was so huge that it crumpled every time I took it out and unrolled it. Fortunatley, NONE of these crumples turned into creases, and I had no trouble - the wrinkles came out in installation. But I would recommend buying the smallest role that fits your needs, because it is tough to work with that huge piece. If you buy that piece, lay it out flat, measure and cut to size, then tape it just above the window to hold it as you start to install.Installation on these is like anything - with a little practice it is easy. Then, clean the window with window cleaner, and use the installation kits dust cloth to remove dust.3. Next, spray the window with the installation spray (you can also use plain water)4. Then remove the backing from the tint and spray water on the sticky side of the tint. You want things REALLY wet.5. Put the tint on the window and just press it on with your hand all around.6. squeegy out SOME of the water so it starts to stick and not shift around.7. Use the razor from the kit to cut the piece to size - you just cut right at the edge of the window, it's easy.8. Squeegy more, starting from the center and slowly working in all directions to move bubbles out. Do this with a cloth in your hand to wipe up water as it drips out from under the tint. Squeegy until there are no more bubbles.You are done. It looks great. It took me about an hour to do our big 72 inch by 48 inch window which has 8 separate panels. It looks fantastic, no bubbles, and the heat in this room (which gets direct afternoon light in Florida) has been cut at least 60%.I'm ordering my third roll now. Note, we decided not to do the living room windows because, as I wrote, it darkens it enough that it looks overcast outside, and I don't want the living room to look like that. But we did our family room, upstairs landing, and laundry.I hope this was helpful.:)

This stiff is top notch!! We have tried and failed with many tints and films to keep the heat out of my sons bedroom windows until now. Much better than rabbit goo! It’s insanely easier to handle and work with than the super flimsy previous films we have tried to work with that were just impossible. Awesome quality and most definitely works best at keeping the heat out! Keeping it stuck to the windows and trying to avoid major bubbles was such an issue but not with this stuff. Thank you,thank you, thank you! My sons room protrudes from the rest of the house and has Florida sunshine beating on his window from sunrise to sunset and even when our thermostat set at 74 his room felt like a hot sauna but not anymore! It’s made at the very least a 10 degree difference but possibly more. Very grateful for making such a quality easy to work with film!

Buyer: understand there are no instructions that come with this. You literally get a roll of it and that's it!

Hello,Everything was done and installed properly after 2 tries... why is there no instructions on how to install. Got to spend some time on Youtube to learn.Once installed, I went outside, and you can still see the inside of the room from outside day time... no mirror crap or privacy as advertised. It's just lightly tinted.Attached a picture taken at 5:00pm and you can see the entire room. Bye bye privacy

Loved it and will order more when it's in stock. My bedroom windows face the sun in the evenings and needed something to cut the heat. I even double layered. I cut to size and stick them in the windows. Didn't need water either, they just stick. During the day, one can't see inside but you can see out. During the night you are able to see inside so we do close the blinds. Love this product ❤️.
