Excellent Flavor; Great fast weeknight meal
This is an excellent green enchilada sauce -- nice bright, zippy flavor; well balanced spice/seasoning; makes for a fast and easy meal. I love green enchiladas, but when I make them from scratch it takes me 2+ hours. With a toddler I just don't have the time! I've tried a few store bought sauces and they were meh. I happened across this one, and have to say it's 90% as good as my homemade version, and considering that it's start to finish in 30 minutes, I call that a definite win!I make mine a little different than the package. I use grilled chicken that I pre-cook and stash in the fridge. I dice the chicken up (1/4" dice), mix with a 7 oz can of corn, 1-2 T of this sauce, and 1-2 T shredded cheese. Spoon this mixture into 8-10 corn tortillas (microwave tortillas, covered with damp papertowel, for 1 minutes). Roll up and put in baking dish. Cover with remaining sauce, lightly sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered at 375 for 20 minutes. If your chicken is cooked and ready to go, it takes only 10 minutes to do the prep, 20 minutes to bake. It's a terrific 30 minute meal! And, I love that the ingredients are so clean -- no artificial anything. All in all, this is a pantry staple for us now.

Great "Authentic" Taco Seasoning
I've been to Frontera Grill in Chicago a number of times and consider it one of the best restaurants in the country, and have also had a lot of luck with Rick Bayless' recipes at home. I jumped at the chance to try this taco seasoning because I regularly make tacos at home using off-the-shelf seasonings at the grocery store (which I actually like pretty well).I was worried that these would taste strange, as I'm used to homemeade tacos with less expensive ingredients. What I would say is that these perform in a different category altogether than cheaper taco seasonings. Definitely a buy. Great authentic taste (and smell when cooking), not too hot (but still has chile taste) and all around tasty. These are slightly larger than off-the-shelf taco spice packets because they already have the liquid in them. One packet is perfect for one pound of ground meat. One note: The directions on the back contain a basic taco recipe, but don't mention draining the fat from your skillet after the meat cooks (especially useful if cooking ground beef). I would recommend doing this as the taco mixture might be too loose after adding the Frontera seasoning liquid otherwise (plus it's healthier to drain the fat - so win win).

It’s good and easy to cook with 😂
I make green beef enchiladas with it and it is very good. I brown hambuger and add sauce and let it simmer for a while then deep fry corn tortillas to just before hard and roll beef and some cheese in them. I make 12 and then pour two med cans green enchilada sauce, bake for while then put cheese on top.

Very versatile!
Love the versatility of this product. Besides following the recipe on the package, I have used it by pouring some on chicken with rice and sour cream, scrambled or fried eggs, quiche. Very tasty and adds variety to the same old quick meals!
