K & S Precision Metals 256 Aluminum Sheet, 0.032" Thickness x 4" Width x 10" Length, 6 pc, Made in USA

This is a 6 piece package of K&S Precision Metals 256 Aluminum Sheets, 0.032" Thickness x 4" Width x 10" Length. Each aluminum sheet is individually wrapped within a larger overall package. K&S offers many types of metal pieces in various sizes, lengths and forms. All K&S metals are perfect for craft making, model building, DIY and more. I purchased this particular 0.032” aluminum sheet because I had a need for a custom shim. I had purchased a cycle attachment for my exercise equipment. It was when I was assembling this cycle attachment that I noticed that the way the legs bolt in to the housing of the cycle piece, it would be very wobbly while in use. To fix this, I made a shim to fit between the leg and the frame up inside of the housing. Fortunately, I was able to determine the exact thickness of sheet metal I needed — I used a dial Caliper to measure this area with. Remarkably after figuring out my dimensions, I was able to find almost the exact thickness needed in a piece of K&S aluminum sheet. With a little patience and a little bit of hard work, I was able to cut this shim out — and a few extras. By hand, I was able to make the shim to the desired size and shape. My shim pieces turned out perfectly. K&S Precision Metals will make any small project that much easier!

I bought a patio heater and the reflector lets quite a bit of the warmth just roll up and out. After looking for extensions online and not wanting to pay $50 - I found these. I simply popped a hole in them and used the screws that hold the main reflector together through and gently bent them slightly downward.. Saved a bunch of money and get the same effect.

This item is very nice, strong enough to bend and hold its shape but will bend easily with your hands. I was able to cut it with a pair of tin snips (M3s) for a nice straight edge. I bent it around a dowel to make a curve and it was very easy.

Great purchase found no problem with the panels....exactly what I wanted....most likely I will be purchasing again.....

I wanted more then one color like the photo shows on Amazon.

I used some K & S metals (as always) to upgrade my commission built of a 1/8 Scale Pocher Alfa Romeo Spyder.
