Excellent Product
I have had difficulty keeping my a/c drain line clean for years. I've tried using a co2 cartridge cleaner, bleach and all kinds of liquid drain line cleaners over the years. Some of these would work for a day or two but the line would clog back up. I even tried sucking the line out with my wet vac. This worked pretty well but it took 15-20 minutes to run the extension cord, clean out the wet vac and remove the filter. Then put everything away when I was finished. I saw this product while searching for other solutions and it looked promising. I read some reviews and watched some videos and thought this might do the trick if it worked like it said. Let me tell you, this thing is fantastic. At least so far. Works just like a wet vac and pumps the water and slime out of the drain line in a couple of minutes. No electricity needed. It's so easy to use that I just do it every few days. Literally 2 or 3 minutes and you're done. I definitely recommend this product!

Save on a service call!
I was apprehensive about buying this product because I usually have to call the air conditioning service company to blow out the lines. This thing worked like a champ! Sucked out all the gunk and saved me $150 for a service call! Highly recommend.

This Thing Really Works!!!
Over the years I've probably bought more than 100 items from Amazon, and this is the first time that i feel compelled to leave a review for an item. I live in central Florida and have been experiencing an AC drain line blockage in a condo that i own. The condo is two stories and the air handler is on the second story toward the front of the condo. The drain line outlet and outside AC unit are downstairs and toward the back of the unit. So the drain is line is realistically about 40' in length. A couple of days ago the AC unit shut off because the pressure switch that senses drain line problems shut it off. I spent hours with a 3 hp shop vac sucking on the drain line and pouring hot tap water down the line with absolutely no success. I finally was getting ready to call a professional. I started googling for solutions and finally came across this product. I thought to myself "what the heck, for $70 bucks I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work i'm already out a couple hundred to hire someone". I ordered from Amazon with the 2-day shipping and as usual Amazon came through and had me the pump in two days. I opened it up today and put it to the test. I have to admit that it took a little bit of work. I probably pumped this thing 20-30 times with no luck. I kept pumping (admittedly with a few breaks), and slowly i started seeing water coming out of the discharge hose. Then..... the blockage broke loose and all that nasty goo-ey, orange mush that builds up in these AC drain lines came out. I filled the AC line back up with hot tap water and pumped, flushing the line multiple times until i was actually getting warm water coming out of the pipe. A long story, i know, but i must say this thing actually works. It appears well constructed, and did exactly what is was supposed to do right out of the box. I would highly recommend buying one of these if you're at that point of thinking you need to hire a professional. I sincerely doubt you will regret it.

It's a high-quality product that is built to last
I recently purchased the Rectorseal 97795 Mighty A/C Condensate Drain Line Pump and have been extremely impressed with its performance. The pump is well-built, with durable materials and a compact design that makes it easy to install and operate. One of the things I love most about this pump is its ability to handle a high volume of condensate, making it perfect for use in my large HVAC system. The pump is also very quiet and it doesn't generate any vibration. The pump also has an automatic switch that turns on and off as needed, which is a great feature. It's also very easy to install and it comes with clear instructions. Overall, I highly recommend the Rectorseal 97795 Mighty A/C Condensate Drain Line Pump to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient pump for their HVAC system. It's a high-quality product that is built to last and will save you time and effort by preventing water damage caused by overflowing condensate. It's a great value for the price and I have no doubt that it will serve me well for many years to come.

Does the job!
I donโt mind saying it. I am not a very handy person, so the first thing I think of when I need to do a job around the house, is to hire someone to do it. However, when I heard from an HVAC technician how much it would cost just to clear a condensate drain line clog, I knew that I had to figure out how to do it myself. I learned that there are several ways to clear a clog but when looking for products, this was the one and only device that stood out to me that actually looked like it could really work! So i soent the money expecting the item to come in two days. Nope just one day. Had my morning coffee and bam I hear Alexa tell me the product had arrived. Heck yeah! Easy to use. Instructions hardly necessary because it was already put together for you and it was just self explanatory. It worked so well. So much gunk came out of the dispensing end and it saved me a lot of money. Highly recommend!

Handle cannot be pulled up to drain the water
This stopped working bc the handle cannot be pulled up any longer. We just bought it in June 2023 and used it twice. I even had the a/c company that services our ac and he could not pull it up any longer. Don't buy this product

Worked as advertised
This pump worked exactly as advertised to clear a stubborn blockage in the AC condensate drain line that my small shop vac couldnโt budge. Iโve used it only once, so I cannot rate its durability. Given that the pump is constructed almost entirely of hard plastic (although the build quality seems good and certainly more than sufficient for its purpose), I think itโs a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, because of its relatively compact size, for me this pump is a much better option than adding a large shop vac to my already crowded garage.

Very effective for clearing the drainage of my homeโs inverter split air conditioner system. Useful alternative to a wet/dry vacuum cleaner especially If you already have a stick vacuum and vacuum mop. A big plus is how compact and easy to store it is. Great buy indeed!

Very handy

This pump definitely works as designed. It generates strong pressure spikes to dislodge clogs and stagnent water in your drain pipe. It moves a LARGE VOLUME of water, and can work in both directions (ie you can pump air into the drain, helpful to further dislodge clogs). Compared against a wetvac, it requires more manual work, is not that much cheaper, it probably just as effective. Get a wetvac if you have space at home, get this if you're short on storage. Would have given it a 5-stars, but it came with a small crack on one of the hoses so -1 star.
