Don't mix Wiz lights from multiple manufacturers
Good lights (4.5 star), somewhat hampered by lackluster software (1 star off for now).First, make sure you order the same bulb model from the same manufacturer. I previously picked up two single-bulb packs of Wiz from another manufacturer at a local home improvement store after reading reviews here. What I didn't realize at the time is that there *are* multiple manufacturers for the same "Wiz" bulb.My primary use-case for these bulbs is the master bath vanity, which has 8 lights total (4 over each sink). I went ahead and put the 2 bulbs in the center fixtures on one side and set them up.When I received this 6-pack from Amazon, I add the other bulbs in.Don't get me wrong, it *works*, but you'll notice that the bulbs are different. They come on at different speeds, have slightly different colors at *some* levels/colors, and in general behave differently. You should *definitely* go ahead and buy all from one source. I've gone ahead and ordered another 6-pack. It's probably better to have 4 extra as future replacements. If you only have "enough" to cover your use-case, you'll likely end up in a situation where you can't get the same model bulb in a few years when you need a replacement.^^^ No rating adjustment was made based on this. It's just a fact of life. The good news is that the bulbs I received from Amazon are better than the "name brand" Wiz bulbs I bought locally. They come on faster and more reliably from what I've seen so far.Now the bad news -- The app is a bit "weak". If you are just looking for simplicity, then it will be right up your ally. But there are just glaring holes for me purposes.Start with the fact that you'll need to create a group of the lights in order to control them all at one time. Great, no problem there. But once you put a light in a group, then there's no longer any way to control it individually. The "night light" mode is great for the middle of the night, but with 8 bulbs in the master bath, it's still a bit bright in the middle of the night. I wanted to create a scene with only the 2 "outside" bulbs on each vanity on, but this just doesn't appear to be possible with the Wiz v2 app. I don't think it was possible with the v1 app, but I migrated pretty quickly to v2 and there doesn't appear to be a way to go back. Once I migrated to v2, the v1 version simply exits on iOS. I could probably get around this with a full reinstall, but that's not worth it.On the bright side, I run Home Assistant for automation of other smart devices in my home, and Wiz integration with Home Assistant is pretty good. The Home Assistant page for Wiz Integration considers it to be at "platinum level" (the best possible). And Home Assistant can still control the lights individually even after grouping them, so I was able to set up a Home Assistant scene to turn the outside pair of lights to "night light", but have all the others "off".Brightness and colors seem good. I do wish they could slightly dimmer, but the three modes I plan to use the most work just fine:- True color: A nice warm setting that matches the bulbs that were previously in the fixtures. Great for morning. At some point, I might set up a slow transition so that the lights move from True Color to a brighter, cooler light over 10 minutes or so.- Daylight: The brightest, coolest setting. Great for cleaning or shaving.- Custom night-light as mentioned aboveIf you're okay with it, the reds are a bit dimmer than the orange "night light", and also (obviously) should exclude the blues that disturb rest patterns at night. That said, red isn't a very "pleasant" light, even when dim.

Easy to set up and link
I was a bit wary of ordering this specific bulb based on the reviews in the Apple App Store but am pleasantly surprised at the ease of setup and pairing to our Alexa app. The colors are beautiful, I love that you can set your own themes and schedules based on your own needs. I am assuming the company has recently fixed some app bugs as I am not experiencing any of the issues from the reviews so far. Great value price, will be purchasing more for our home!

Best smart light bulb
I had gotten this for our front porch light because the previous one (different brand) keeps flickering. I love how this doesn’t need a hub. Theres so many options of color to choose from and can customize the color to what we want. After playing around with the app, it didn’t take long to figure out. It’s quite self explanatory. The schedule was easy to set up. The bulb and the app is just awesome and user friendly. There is a lag while adjusting the color from app to the bulb. Probably just one second off but that doesn’t bother me at all. So happy to have chose this smart bulb. There’s so much options out there if smart bulb. Don’t think I can find a better one than this. $10 something for one light bulb is pretty expensive but this is a smart bulb which most are about this price. But this is more than smart. It’s smarter.

Easier to Install and Better Color than Previous Generation
The new Wiz 2.0 app makes this super easy to connect (i.e. it just connects automatically when you enable it in the app - no QR code). While it is a positive that they've improved the color and brightness of this model, older generations simply do not match up, so if you're replacing an old bulb in an area with other, older generation bulbs, you will notice a difference.

Connectivity
I bought 2 other bulbs similar to this one and had to return them because I couldn't get them to connect to my Alexa. This one worked. The other 2 bulbs said Alexa supported but never did. That's the pro for this one. The con; it takes a few mins.to navigate from the wiz app to the Alexa app. But I was able to finally firgue it out and configured ot to work with my Alexa without a hub. That's the reason I give it a 4 star. But it works well.

Great bulbs
This is one of the best smart light bulbs I’ve ever purchased. I have had one for my desk lamp for months. I am using this one for my bedroom’s ceiling lamp and it’s perfect. I love the many color options, scenes and the fact you can control it through Alexa.

Works ... most of the time...
I can't tell you how often I have to restart the app to make these go. On, off, on, off. But when they work, they are easy as pie.

Overall Great smart bulb
I needed a smart bulb with an E26 base but small enough to fit into our bubble-shaped light fixture. This definitely does the trick. The pairing system is very quick and painless and the app is intuitive. My only gripe is that when I turn off and turn on the light, the bulb doesn't seem to remember the last setting it was tuned into. But the app is easy enough to navigate and you can save your favorite scenes/lighting preference so you can quickly change it.
