I started using a British shaver from AMZ several years ago and I thought that was one of the best kept secrets! It worked great and still would had a little piece of plastic inside under the on/off button hadnt broken. Tried to order another, missing part I think. So I ordered this one. I’m so happy with it I stopped getting ready for my day to write about it! Please ladies, do yourself a favor and get one of these! It’s far better than the Brodie. I first noticed it’s much quieter. No rattling sound like the foil head is loose in the plastic head. It came fully charged. It says in the pamphlet using twice a week that the part that does the cutting should last 1-2 YEARS! The description is important. I read it and a ton of reviews on many shavers. This says something to the effect that if you have sensitive skin do not push down against the skin which told me it’s sharp! Great! And it is! I used a light hand and shaved my face- yeah after 50 all sorts of things happen. I have very fine blonde hair on my face but I’m the summer you can really see it in the light. This gave a fabulous shave! No irritation no nicks! I moved onto my legs. I have a stump from a car accident and it went around that bone on the end like a dream! It had been just a few weeks on the legs and I don’t have a lot but it was longer so first I used the curved blade quickly, then the foil head! Fantastic! I did armpits and even the entire private area and it never pulled, pinched or nicked anything! I was done with everything in less than 10 minutes. I use no water, no soap, no cream. Just fry so you can save so much time! Last minute plans, no problem! You won’t feel self conscious because you didn’t have time to shave. It only used 2% power and in 5 minutes was charged back up. I love this unit has a button you push for the whole head to pop off first, then hold both ends of the metal piece and pull STRAIGHT UP. I blew it out first, then poured rubbing alcohol through the metal piece to sanitize it since I use it on my face. You will need to buy some oil specifically for shavers but it only takes a couple drops and will last forever. It’s very comfortable in hand, it’s not heavy and I love the power LED screen. One full charge they say lasts 1 week! This is a secret that shouldn’t be! Tell all your gf’s, your kids when they’re ready to shave and I’m positive you will thank me. If not you can return it. But I’m 56 and I wish I would have done this starting at the beginning! And DO NOT USE A MANS SHAVER! They have different hair than we do and skin. Do it the right way! The price was also fantastic and it came with an extra metal cutting head! They also sell replacements on here which was how I started looking to begin with. You are going to love this! And save so much time and mess. I suggest using baby wipes to clean up loose hair, even from men shaving, to wipe off the counter or sink. It works great! I keep a pack right in the cabinet! Enjoy! UPDATE: after my review about the razor unexpectedly not working after 8 months, I was contacted by the company for a refund. They refunded me for the first one & im now a proud owner of another of these great razors. Customer service & product - A* ! Original review: It WAS so super great. I loved that I could use it in the shower, the battery lasted long, it was a great smooth shave, rechargeable….but here we are 8 months later & the razor won’t work. It does a weird buzzing thing and shows 100 on the charger, but it won’t run. Loved it, but very annoyed that I bought a rechargeable razor that only lasted 8 months (Note for the manufacturer: I would recommend relocating the power button though. When using it at certain angles for some areas, you can’t not put your finger right where the power button is & constantly turning it off)

This makes shaving go very fast. It is built well and has good power to it. There is occasional pain depending on the length and thickness of the hair but overall does not usually hurt. Slight irritation to skin and the shave is not as smooth as a razor. Worth the money though because it is easy to use.

My expectations for this electric razor were so high after seeing so many videos praising it & saying that it was lifechanging & made their routine so so much easier. As someone who has always looked for a better way to be hairless, the way i would like to have been, I was swayed. And I was beyond disappointed. There are very few things this razor does well. I will name them. 1. It shaves your armpits DECENTLY.you wont get razor bumps, you wont get irritation. That goes to say for every place you try to shave. In a place like an armpit, the perfect shave doesnt matter. What matters is that it does not look unsightly. This is the first time i have achieved that & it was with this electronic razor. 2. It's "good" for touch ups & you can shave dry without the usual consequences. If you don't have water around, it's not an issue. Probably useful but i am not carrying a huge piece of plastic in my purse. Now. For the things it does poorly. Do not ever expect a close shave with this razor. It simply cannot be done, whichever way you maneuver it, it will not happen. Three words: forget about it. Unfortunately it also does not make things easier. 20 minutes spent on one leg will still be 20 minutes, perhaps more because i can almost guarantee that after running your hands over them you will reach for that plastic disposable razor you were so eager to get rid of after making this purchase. No matter how many times you go over one spot, slow or fast, you will still look at your legs, your arms in the sun & exclaim "I need to tweeze that!" I am better off using this as an annoying, loudly buzzing flashlight in my shower while I actually shave with my usual dispensable razor bought at target in a pack of twelve with zero longevity. Perhaps my razor came with dull blades, i dont know. But i had high hopes of this working & making my life easier & it did not do that. Think twice. Edit: one month later. The charger no longer turns on. I set it to charge, watch it go from 0% to 90 something, then take it off to use & once i press the button.... nothing. I put it back to charge & it says 0 percent once more. A total waste of money & i cant even return it or get a refund because its been three days after the one month/30 day limit. A piece of junk that no longer even turns on & worked poorly when it did, to summarize.
