Alka-Seltzer Effervescent Gold - 36 Tablets, Pack of 2

Over the years I've had a lot of allergic food reactions and Alka-Seltzer gold was recommended by my allergist many years ago. It's hard to find because you need it without the aspirin and or Tylenol or any other additives and that is what Alka-Seltzer gold is plane and it decreases the acidity that you get from an allergic reaction which mini X feels like acidity in your stomach. So that's what I use it for. Hope that helps. It doesn't have a flavor which is fine.

I love this product. If you accidentally ingest foods you don't tolerate well, like I do on occasion--I have a lot of food issues, this really helps your stomach. Has a mild flavor, works quick, and has no aspirin, which I don't need for my issues. I can't find this product anywhere locally, so I am happy to be able to get it here.

Product recommended on Lyme Disease health websites to help offset Herx reactions and it does help tremendously! If you have Lyme Disease, or you are building an arsenal of defense for yourself or your family and friends, you really need to do the research for yourself and build an arsenal of defense treatments beyond antibiotics! Lyme Disease is actually a horribly powerful Miniscule Multiplying Monster; altho it can be managed with lifestyle adjustments and generally easily attainable tools. I am not sure that this product is readily found locally and was relieved to find it here. This is a good one! Packaged and delivered as promised.

As I’ve aged (now in 70’s) I used Alka Seltzer infrequently. AS was a product that helped people dispel a bit of gas thru a burp. Then AS decided to add aspirin, antihistamines and God knows what else. Totally got away from the simple purpose for which it was originally created. Now the powers that be at Bayer Inc. say “Wouldn’t it be great to market something new like just plain ok’ AS? We can call it AS Gold and charge even more fore the same old recipe!” Good product for more money than it should ever fetch. Wall Street dream!
