I really wanted to give this product more stars especially since retractable ID badge holders are so useful for work, but already had one break on me after a few weeks of use, including fading of the paw. Good thing it's a pack of 5 and it is really cute. We'll see how long my other ones last, but for the price and quantity, really can't complain.

I went searching for a new ID holder because I got tired of mine coming unclipped from my slacks. I'm also involved in animal rescue so this was a perfect option for me. I was pleased that they come with a carabiner clip as well as a slide clip for when I am not wearing something with belt loops. I also was pleasantly surprised that they arrived a bit earlier than expected and now I have spares to share!

Although, I still use it and really think they are soo cute, I actually was not too impressed with the fact that the black paw fades relatively too soon. I'm am glad that more than one comes in the package. This way, when one is fading, I can replace it with another one.

This is a very cute product. I probably was looking for something a little more stronger than what this is. But, it is very cute and I kept them anyway and are giving them out as gifts.

I’ve had this product since July 8th, it broke for the first time on August 1st under general usage. Unlike other badge holders I’ve had over the years where the string eventually broke, this one the entire housing basically exploded when I was attempting to badge into the door from about a foot away.It literally sent the front, back, and the clip flying about 8 feet in separate directions from just regular use. I’m lucky there was nobody around me that could have been hit by it.I’ve managed to put the badge holder back together about 5 times now, but this last time I just had to outright replace it because it won’t hold together anymore.Poor quality for something I’ve had for about 6 weeks.

I really like them....I got 2 packs . One of them did break.

These are awesome! The paw fades quickly, though.

I use these for my work keys. I've had quite a few over the past 5 years that are different brands, and so far the string and internal mechanisms have remained smooth and easy to pull and retract.
