Well built, wall mountable, and versatile
This is a very attractive and well engineered cabinet. Assembly was straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for the assembly process. The doors slide back and forth easily and smoothly. This can be securely mounted to the wall as long as you screw into studs and use screws longer than those provided, which were far too short and narrow in my case. The wood veneer is of good quality, and the walnut stain is a great medium tone, so it works nicely with other wood elements in the room. The CD capacity is right on the nose- 350 CDs, and the units can be stacked. This unit was designed as a media cabinet, but the design makes it very versatile. With independently adjustable shelves on each side, and a 6” depth, this is equally effective for Knick-knacks or pantry storage, yet it’s deep enough to display some collectibles such as Department 56, trophies, or baseball memorabilia.Wall installation is the same process as kitchen cabinets. A large wood bar attaches to the wall, and the unit fits securely on the bar. You will have several inches of play to slide the cabinet to the right or left after mounting. This unit is very heavy- even without a load. The wood screws packed with my unit were far too short and narrow to safely support the cabinet. They only cleared the drywall by .25”, and they would not have been able to hold the weight even if they were long enough to hit a stud. Unless they have fixed this problem, be prepared to get much longer and fatter screws. The screws included with my unit were not safe to use! Once you have the proper screws, the wall mounting process is very straightforward. The stock photo makes it look like there is only one glass door. There are two glass doors so you can completely enclose all your media. Purchasing items made with glass can be nerve-wracking, but the packaging was excellent. The glass doors were double boxed and strapped. Even though the exterior box had been dinged up a bit, there was no damage at all to anything in the box.I have purchased many Leslie Dame items through the years. This is my favorite because of its versatility. I am already thinking of other places in the house where I could use one of these… 🤔 💭

Satisfied beyond belief
After taking a chance on an Atlantic Media Storage unit and being horribly disappointed, I got online to check out media cabinets in the hope of spending a little more money for a decent build quality. The company that came up with constant high ratings was Leslie Dame. After a bit of comparison shopping and price checking, I decided to go with the MS-350 to accommodate my ever-growing music library. The shipper got the unit to my door in less than a week. As for unboxing and installing, the first thing you notice right out of the box is a varnish smell. Call me sensitive, but my favorite thing about getting new furniture was always the wood-grain smell, it meant 'quality.' The wood was treated composite particle board which seemed to be very sturdy. Most of the assembly was done with casters and wood pegs, but the design of the product seemed well thought-out after attaching the first few pieces. Assembly took a little more over an hour, after which you have a handsome, quality-built unit. My only suggestion would be to have a magnetic screwdriver handy, as the screws that hold the glass reinforcements in can be difficult to seat. Please do not pay attention to the three-star review on this product. Regardless of your furniture assembly experience, the directions are easy to follow. Well done, Leslie Dame!

great product
I got this wall cabinet on 12-21-11 and hung it up today 12-25-11 it wasn`t hard to put together although the instructions were a little less than i,m used to . So far the unit is holding up alot of pounds and looks great on my wall . It is a sturdy unit and nice looking too love the tempered glass and hard ware that came with it , what a nice addition .Will be buying another one soon to put on the other side of the plasma tv to balance the wall out also need more storage too .I decided to further review this item since i,ve had it for a few years now . First off this wall unit has stood the test of time , the sliding doors still glide with no problems like it was new , I have it loaded with dvd, cd,s ,vhs, and ps3 games and have things sitting on top of it .The doors keep the dust out since I live on a dirt road that is a plus the finish still looks great .

Nice little storage unit--good value
I love this storage cabinet. It's not as big as I thought it would be (but that seems to happen to me with almost everything, so take it for what it's worth). It was easy to assemble. The shelves are all adustable so that you can design it to suit your needs. The doors slide nicely and don't roll back, so it provides the dust protection for which I was hoping. The overall look is classy, as well. The top is solid wood, as are the doors. It has the option of being hung on the wall. We didn't do that, but we kept the hardware for it in case we decide to so later. I did end up with an extra shelf (which I also kept), but I think that's more a result of how I wanted to organize everything. All the pieces were present and nothing was damaged in shipping. I have no complaints. I will probably purchase another one.

Looks nice when done, but not that easy
The finish is rough - I picked up more than one splinter just handling the parts. And there is NO manual - just a parts list with some very limited guidance to how things fit together. There are no labels on any of the pieces, no indication of which is top, bottom, front or back.Fortunately experience with other self-assembled furniture made it possible to put this together, but without that experience the "manual" would have been no help at all. There are also two wall-mount boards that are supposed to be screwed into studs - on 14" centers! I'm not sure where these were designed, but no recent construction in the U.S. uses that spacing.
