Smoked the OEM Titan 12t motor, great value.
My son thrifted a Traxxas Slash RWD 1/10. After some tinkering and parts swapping from an older off brand RC it ran for a week. Never great but it ran, the motor would overheat and cease up periodically. Then the motor locked up completely. The easy fix would have been OEM, but we saw this motor on Amazon and took a chance. Glad we did. A simple heat shrink over the cable connectors, and a 4 screws later this motor hums beautifully. Now we are comparing it to an abused thrifted Traxxas motor, but I cannot imagine that there was a better sun $30 motor out there. My son loves it, the speed is awesome but the torque is unreal he is able to get it off jumps from only feet away and control the pitch with the throttle as if the car has wings. If you are needing a motor this one is great. I cannot speak to manufacturing variances but the unit we received was top notch!
